Being on the lake was the next best thing to going away on vacation. Zayn had just gotten home from tour and you decided a couple weeks at the lake house would be good for both of you. Romantic, to be all alone, with no neighbors to disturb you. Relaxing, none of the stress of tour or any fans or anything along those lines. When you had gotten there you arrived just before sunset. Leaving the bags in the car and heading straight to the dock you sat down on the edge dipping your feet in the water, still warm from the sun. You let your hands rest behind you as you leaned back looking at the sunset in the distance, the sun rays reflecting on the water. You breathed in the fresh air, none of that city smog. You heard Zayn’s footsteps on the dock as he approached you. He sat down next to you, “Whatch ya doing out here?” He asked. You smiled closing your eyes still feeling the warmth of the low sun, “I like the sun sets here.” You opened your eyes and looked at Zayn. “It’s really beautiful. How about every night, we come out here to watch the sun set?” You perked up at the idea, “I’d like that!” You leaned over to kiss him as he kissed back, his arm circling around your waist pulling you close. “Day one. Thirteen more to go.” He whispered. “I like the sound of that.” A smile playing on your lips.
