Chapter One-A Thankful Reminder

(Y/N pov)

I woke up in a forest, it was the middle of fall and I looked at my triforce watch. It read 2:38 AM.

I don't know why I ended up in a forest...the last thing I can remember was...was...playing Majora's Mask on my 3ds.

I have no phone, no money, nothing...

I stood up and looked around for a while and I took in all of my surroundings and there was a picture nailed into a tree and I ripped it off regretting it the second that I did it...it was a picture of a boy that looked kinda like...link but he had no eyes and red dots where his pupils should be, he also had blood coming out of his eyes as if he was crying.

It was a beautiful picture, that's why I regretted ripping it off.

The forest had many trees, they were changing colors and the leaves were falling like it was snowfall, it was very cold and windy, the full moon was very vibrant, and I couldn't help feeling a presence. The feeling was very heavy.

I heard a noise coming from a nearby bush so I started running. I was running out of breath and I swear I have run 3 miles by now. I tripped over a large root protruding out of the ground.

I still held onto the picture as if it was my lifeline. Wait...maybe the thing is chasing me because I took the picture...

I could hear the mystery being catching up to me, so I got up as quick as humanly possible and started sprinting trying not to crumple the delicate picture that I held in my hands.

Somehow, I made it out of that torturous hell but little did I know...that was just the beginning...

The last tree that I saw had something etched into the bark...it said..."you shouldn't have done that"
