Devin’s POV

I turned around to see a man with black hair and brown eyes holding Bree by her hair.

“Where do you think you’re going Harry? You still have a job to do or should I do it for you?” He threw Bree on the ground and kicked her towards him.

“Do it, and make it fast I have somewhere to be.”

I looked up at Harry, I could tell by his face that the choice was killing him and the look on Bree’s face begged him not to.

Bree’s ex held up a gun.

Harry looked straight at the gun then shook his head. “No, I can’t do it.”

With that not even a second went by when the sound of a gun shock lingered in the air. The curly haired green eyed boy had finally fallen.

I screamed and tried to comprehend everything that had happened in the last few days.

The boy I loved, dead, bleeding out his life right in front of me.

The sound had echoed so loud that I could hear police sirens coming closer, by the time I looked up her ex was gone.

Seconds later the police arrived and took all of us to the hospital.

That was the last time I saw Harry before he was put in the ground. I now stand in the rain and reality came back. His voice still lingering the cool winter breeze. Maybe he shouldn’t come back to me.
