I arrive home around 6:30 after going to the store reluctantly hauled two large ass grocery sacks up the stairs, because my luck never fails, the elevator was broken.  This is just not my day.  I get to my door and kick Jesse's telling him I'm home.

He comes out his door less that a minute later.

"Finally your home I'm starved."  Jesse complains rubbing his stomach.  Pig.

I huff in annoyance, "Can you take these?"

"Yeah, sure.  Sooo what are you making Daddy?"  Jesse asks taking the grocery sacks from my hands so I can open my door.

"Food."  I say bluntly.

"I know that but what type of food?"  Jesse asks amusedly rolling his eyes.

"If your lucky it won't be your dick."  I growl, walking into my apartment with Jesse on toe.

"So you want to eat m-"

"Hold it!"  I say.  "What I meant in that was; I was going to cut off your winer and have you eat it."

"God, what put your panties in a twist?"  He teased.

"YOU!"  I cry out in frustration.

I had an awful start to my first day at a new job, but some how Ashton made my day not so horrid.  He was just so kind and sweet.  AND NOT BIPOLAR!  Ashton would never blackmail me into making him dinner and calling him daddy for my phone.

That reminds me, "Jesse give me my phone."  I order and turn around with my hand out expectantly.

"Well good afternoon to you too, my dear."  Jesse scoffs placing the phone in my awaiting hand.

I open m phone and the background of my iPhone has been changed from the plain stars to a picture of Jesse.  I immediately look up and glare at Jesse.

"What you password was your room number.  I just couldn't resist."  He says holding his hands up backing away slowly.

"Just please tell me thats all you did?"

"No worries, good girl, I only added my phone number."

"Good god what am I going to do with you?"  I groan.

"So what are you making?"  Jesse asks searching threw the sacks.

"You'll see."  I say shooing him out of the kitchen.  "Now go wait."

"I'll be in the living room."  Jesse hollers over his shoulder leaving the kitchen.

I start making the lasagna and garlic bread.

*~*~*

Once I've placed the garlic bread and lasagna in the oven I stalk into the living rom.  I find Jess standing in front of the book shelf by the TV admiring my many books.

"You love to read don't you?"  Jesse asks not even turning around to meet my eye.

"Yeah I guess so."  I shrug shyly.

"The classics."  He muses finally turning around with my tattered copy of Pride and Prejudice.  "I love Jane Austen."

What?!  Jesse?  Classics?  Love?  Jane Austen?  I don't believe this.

"W-what?"  I stutter, "You know Jane Austen?"

"Yeah..."  Jesse says slowly, "Is it that hard to believe?"
