I was having the most peaceful dream when suddenly my alarm clock
rang.My eyes snapped instantly open.I groaned.Another day at school.I
rubbed my eyes and walked across the hall to the bathroom.I washed my
face in warm water.It woke me up and I brushed my teeth.I looked at
myself,Amy Harting,light brown hair that stops more than half way to my
elbow,light brown eyes that hid behind my glasses.I looked at myself
wondering how I got this way.I wasnt a cheerleader cant cheer to save my
life.I wasnt a geek.I was just...me.I was right in the middle of high school
life.I have friends.Just two.Mary and Alice,twins.They ignored the popular
crowd when they moved here and were nice to sit and become friends
with me.All my friends ditched me and went for the crowd.I've been
friends with Mary and Alice in 7th grade.I had loads of friends then but
we've drifted a part since freshmen year.Today would be no different then
any other.Wake up, go to school, face Hallie Swan the queen of the
school,come home then get ready for bed. Not the most exciting life but I
rather be me than a wannabe.I turned away and walked to my room and
went to my closet.I picked out a long sleeves shirt thats deep blue.I worn
me dark blue jeans and worn my hair down with a blue headband.I was
going blue today.I worn my blue tennis shoes and switched my stuff to a
blue backpack.I put on a little light blue eye shadow and walked
downstairs.My aunt and uncle were still sleeping.My parents died in a car
accident when I was only a baby.They were coming back from work and
my grandma was taking care of me that day.When they didnt come home
before 9 she got worried and called their cell phones.She got no
answer.She called the police and they said their too busy fixing up a car
crash than to find two people who could be anyone.Grandma was trying to
get me to sleep and since I was a baby then I fell asleep quickly.In the
morning grandma was crying.I patted her cheek.'Grandma! Where mama
and dada?' tht was when I said my first sentence.Since I was a baby telling
me was pointless.She told me when I was about 2 or 3.When I was 5 she
died of heart attack.Thats when my aunt and uncle came and took me
in.They felt sorry for me and was always there.I usually walk to school but
today was raining so I called Mary and Alice to come pick me up.The had a
G35 Infinity they got from their parents.They took turns using it
everyday.They said they'll be there in 5 minutes.I sighed and sat down.I
watched the rain which made me feel calm.I love watching the rain
fall.Before I knew it Mary and Alice came honking.I smiled.Even though
we're not in the crowd we make it feel like it.We have fun and we're
loud.Just not at school!I ran to the car and climbed in."Took you guys long
enough!"I said.They laughed,"We were trying to decide who was going to
drive!"said Mary(the oldest)I laughed,"Didnt you make a chart?"I asked.She
blushed and said"Yeah but I lost it."I laughed again."Doesnt matter to me.I
just dont want to face school."We all agreed to that.We pulled up at
school and ran towards it.We made it to class before the bell and sat down
in our row in the back.School was extremely slow but the week was
slower.When Friday reached and I was home from a very long day I school
my aunt and uncle spoke in a language that was strage but
familar.Somewhere in a distant memory did I kno what they were saying.I
found myself actually understanding them."Am I really a...a princess?"I
asked.They both nodded their heads."Why?Why tell me now of all time
aunt Libby,uncle Frank?"They both looked at each other then at
me."Aimee we are not your aunt and uncle.Where we lived, a war broke
out we saw queen Sarah and king Alexander die.They protected you.They
gave you to someone, who fled but gave it to someone else and used a
decoy.Everyone who was still alive risked their lives for you.Finally you were
handed to us.We fled without getting caught and other who did died
protacting our only princess."said who used to be what I called aunt Libby.I
closed my eyes wishing for it to go away.I breathed in and out but felt a
chill everytime I did.I opened my eyes slowly and was calm."Princess of
what?"I asked, looking at both of their faces."Princess of the seaworld."said
Frank."There is a reason you love the water so much.There is a reason why
you care for the ocean animals."said Libby."Then why lie to me about my
childhood.You said my parents died in a car crash.You said grandma was
watching over me when that had happened.Why lie when I was going to
kno the truth someday?"I asked getting angrier."We gave you false
information so when the time was right we could enroll you at Crimson
High.Located in the world of royal.Where you will be going to school with
princes and other princesses."said Libby,"Since you are 17 you should be
getting your powers about now.Thats when prince and princesses usually
get theirs.Now you will need to kno some things.You kno the solar
system?"I nodded my head."Well we lived on Neptune untilthe darkness
froze it.Now it is just a ice planet.Jupiter is the planet for the king and
queen of fire.They lived on that red spot.Venus is the planet for
love.Something of pure powerful power.Mars is for the planet of
fight.Uranus is the planet of air.Then there is Earth, Earth is the planet of
well earth.You will meet these prince or princess of each element.The
world of royal will be on the moon.It will be invisible to human and inhuman
eyes.But to royals, it is the most beautiful sight."I closed my eyes and took
deep breathes,"When do I leave?"
