John's POV
I felt a small feeling of love growing. It was strange because no one at the school can get together. It was against the law to marry or be with someone else that is from a different planet of yours. I stopped moving and said I was going to get a drink. When I was away, I concentrated on finding who this person was.Yeah, I know it's rude but what if-my thought was cut off as I found whoever it was. Aimee.AIMEE!?!?! My mind was alert, who did she like? Searching in her mind to where my answers would be told, I had a feeling I didn't need to look. That I already knew. Andrew. I walked towards the water room and when I got there I saw her looking at Andrew with care and admiration. That made my blood boil, she couldn't like him! She just couldn't! She has to like me! WAIT! I shouted, in my mind. I can't like her either. Unless the law was lifted, we also couldn't be together. Law or not, I was going to make Aimee fall for me.
Aimee's POV
I watched Andrew amazed. He was really progressing. Andrew looked over and smiled, for some reason my stomach did a back flip, and I felt really nervous. I gave him a smile of approval, trying so hard not to show how nervous I was. Why was I feeling this way? This can't be happening! I cannot get too attached to anyone! We were going to battle soon. What if some die? Then what can I do? What if Raven dies?! Or John! Or...Andrew. No. No. NO!!! Anyone but Andrew! I blinked in surprise. What the hell was I saying?! Am I going insane?! I cannot fall in love. I can only marry those who were from my planet. But yet there was no one left. No one besides Frank and Libby. And if my mom, Sarah, and my dad, Alex, were still alive, then them too. But what if others managed to escape? How would I track them down?
"Aimee? May we talk to you?" asked Head Master with the King and Queen behind him.
"Yes." I answered and got up, following them into a room. Before I walked out I told Raven to keep an eye on thing and smiled at John. I guess he was still worried about me. He was so sweet at times. I smiled at the memory when we first met. John coming into my room as I hid from him, then appearing behind John. I shook my head, clearing my thoughts. "What did you want to talk to me about?"
Head Master cleared his throat and began. "Aimee," he paused,"How do you feel about marrying Andrew?"
