Why was he so laid back, for all he knows I could be a killer but that didn't seem to mean a thing. I walked to the kitchen to grab the glasses contemplating where this was headed I don't even know why I'm entertaining this fool, But this fool bought expensive wine and just so happens to look like a model with those eyes. I shook my head just because the thought itself sickened me I swore I would never get close to a man again. I walked back over to him sat across from him on the love seat.
He stared me Down but his expression still was solid and intense. He reach out his hand and I gave him the cup, I couldn't help but to study him as if he were a science project.
"I would really like it if you didn't squint at me like that. Loosen up because your tension is beginning to ruin my weekend." He popped the cork out and poured the glass slow.
"Now that you have time I want to know what your name is. I waited all day for at least that." He reached out for my glass.
I handed him the glass as I did he softly touched my hand and then pulled away as if he didn't. It made my heart stutter what is it about this man. He handed back the drink and lifted his glass, I did as well. The silence hung in the air as if it was fog. I sipped the wine, the flavour was charming it was a tart yet very sweet red wine.
"So, you let me enjoy the evening with you and your basically naked but you still won't tell me your name. You know, you have a very strange way of being anti social." He stated grimly.
His honesty cut deep I had to say something or at least stand up for myself.
"To be honest I don't have to do or answer anything. You barged in my home demanding answers you don't deserve. So you can answer my questions first, and I just might cooperate. Fare?" I I asked him clearly flustered.
His face seemed irritated, he stood came over to me and sat down undid his cufflinks. He lifted his hands as if to gesture I had the go ahead.
"What exactly do you want from me? That's all I want to know." I say frantically.
"I just wanted to get to know you. It seemed as if you were afraid of me, or you weren't interested in my conversation. You left so fast I didn't exactly know what to do. So I figured I would wait till your free and see if we can finish our conversation." He said so calmly it shivered my back.
"Well guess I have some time to talk with you then Sir. Feel free to ask away then." I lean back and cross my legs while this wine warms my blood.
"The only question I have is what is your name? That's all I could think about all day was your name, so in my thoughts I Named you mystery till you actually weren't afraid to talk to me." He runs his fingers through his curly hair as if he was overwhelmed at how many times he had to ask me my name today.
"Alright you got me," I giggle lightly. "I'm Eav nice to meet you sir." I reach my hand out for him to shake it. To my amazement he lifts my hand gently and kisses it slowly. I felt my inhibitions melt into his palm, and I think he knew it. He softly grazed his thumb over my knuckles then pulled away slowly as if to bask in my reaction.
"Well Eav, the pleasure is all mine. I'm Blessing Jones, and I am flattered to make your acutance. I didn't mean to disturb your evening I just had to know your name." He sipped from his glass and slowly licked his lips.
Did he just say his name is Blessing Jones like thee Blessing Jones owner of Blessing's enterprise. It can't be he is not him it's impossible. I took a strong gulp of wine stood up and silently walked to my bathroom. All I can do is splash cold water in my face and regain composure. I walk back out still stunned at all of this.
Blessing sit on the love seat sipping slowly and watching me. I'm watching him just as much trying to add this all up. I sit down across from him again this time the silence was enough to make him uncomfortable.
"Did I do something to upset you Eav?" Blessing asked softly so softly it seemed as if his sentence embraced me.
"Your Blessing Jones! I'm not upset I'm highly confused." I shook my head as that gulp of wine made my mind blurry.
