Sunday morning, I woke up with a huge headache after what had happened the other day at the meet and greet but I obviously ignored the pain. Anyways, I got ready and then waited for my mom to go. As I was waiting we got a call up to our room and since my mom was in the bathroom I had to answer it. So I answered it and said "Hello?" And then someone from the Lobby said "Hello is this the room for Laura Davidson?" I replied "Yes but right now she is in the bathroom can I tell her anything for you?" The man replied "Yes we have a limo driver here to pick her and you up. This limo was requested by David Walliams just make sure to tell your mother." Then I said "Alright I will thank you." And then we hung up.
I quickly got my mom out of the bathroom and explained who was here for us and she quickly got ready and we rushed to the lobby. Our limo driver had a sign in his hands holing it up with our names on it. Then we rushed over and told him it was us and he escorted us to the limo. We got in and let me tell you, IT WAS HUGE! There was so much room and I never imagined being in a limo until now. After the 15-20 minute ride they dropped is off at a cafe near a local park.
As we got out we just walked inside and we saw David. When he saw us he smiled and told us to sit down. I smiled back obviously! But anyways, we all sat down and then he asked me how I had felt after yesterday and I just said I was fine even though I wasn't. Eventually after we ate he asked if we would want to go to the park for a stroll and I obviously said yes. My mom decided to go shopping and then meet her back at the cafe. As we split up from my mom we walked into the park and we eventually sat down on a bench.
He asked "How do you like it over here so far?" And I said I absolutely love it here!" Then we just talked about other stuff like his books, his projects he was currently working on and all that stuff. Then I thought about telling him why I wanted to meet him so much and why I wanted to thank him. Eventually I had the courage to say "Can I tell you the real reason why I wanted to come visit you and thank you?" And he smiled and said "Of course we have time and I'd love to know why." Then I said "Well, about a year ago, I had very bad depression and I just felt alone. At some point I tried to kill myself but I obviously was too scared to. I ended up being unhappy as usual and feeling like I don't fit in at school. Then I discovered you and I found out you went through the same thing I was going through right at that moment. After I discovered that I realized that I shouldn't end my life and I should always be myself. You inspired me to be me and I want to thank you for that. You have helped me a lot." After I explained it, it was silent for a second. I tried to not tear up but I ended up doing that of course. He looked at me and he teared up too. He looked me in the eyes and said "I'm glad my story helped you. I know exactly what you were going through and I promise things will get better." Then he hugged me and I started crying into his chest.
After I stopped he looked at me concerned and said "Are you still depressed or has it ended?" I sat there for a minutes afraid to tell him and I said "Well, in a way yes." And then he hugged me again and said "Don't even think about ending your life because I promise that life gets better. Look at me I'm thankful for my life and the fans I have. And I am thankful for meeting you." After that I just smiled and forgot about all my problems. We sat there for a few minutes in silence.
Eventually he looked at me and said "Have you ever been interested in moving here?" And I said "Yes but we would never afford it." He looked at me and said "Maybe someday you will. Would you by chance want to stay here for this week? I can give you a tour of BGT, my house, and we can do other things." I looked at him and smiled really wide and said "If its alright with my mom I'd love to!" Then he smiled and we walked back to the cafe to meet my mom. When we saw her, he asked her and she was a little uncomfortable with it but we eventually convinced her. I would get excused absences because they would be counted as vacation. As we drove back to our room, I was excited to see what the rest of the week had in store...
