Revised Storyline

Stormkit (Emeraldkit) is born to a kittypet who joined the clan named Raingaze (Stargaze) with her littermates, Jaykit and Swankit (who was born blind). They became apprentices but Swanpaw was forced to become a Medicine Cat apprentice. Stormpaw and Jaypaw trained hard but, Jaypaw hurt her paw when she fell while trying to catch a Squirrel. Swanpaw and Jayfeather become best friends but soon, Jayfeather tells her that he is her father. Swanpaw tells Jaypaw and Stormpaw this and the news spreads like wildfire. Bramblestar thinks nothing of it, "Jayfeather is a loyal medicine cat and will continue to serve his clan and train Swanpaw" Bramblestar had said. Moons later, Stormpaw becomes a warrior (Stormshine). Jaypaw is furious that she is going to be an apprentice for a longer period of time. Jaypaw begins to go mad, staying alone in the apprentices den, not talking to anyone. When Jaypaw's foot finally heals, she becomes Jayflight. Jayflight soon decides to kill Squirrelflight and try to become leader, but, Stormshine becomes the deputy, she was already training her own apprentice after all. In her fury, Jayflight attempts to murder Stormshine, but fails, Stormshine kills Jayflight accidentally but continues to serve her clan as deputy (and later, leader) of ThunderClan.
