Life's Greatest Lie

There's only one reason that I'd cry,

And that's because we fell for,

Life's greatest lie,

We thought that we'd be fine,

But instead we had fallen for a simple lie,

It tore us apart,

Right from the bitter start,

And we didn't even know,

And so now we are all alone,

And we came to fear the unknown,

And couldn't seem to even grow,

We are scared to get close,

But that's not what hurts us the most,

What hurts us and tears us all apart,

Is that unknown lie we lived with all our lives,

Even if it was in fine print,

I have no doubt we would miss it,

Because there is only one reason that I'd cry, and that's because we fell for this life's greatest lie,

It's that our love would last forever,

Through bad or through worse we would never

Once say that one day,

We would break away,

And that's why I cry, when I realized that life's greatest lie was

Everlasting Love
