Cas walked into the bathroom and looked in the mirror above the sink.

"why does Dean hate me?" Cas mumbled. he splashed some water onto his face and brushed his teeth. he was about to leave when his eye caught on something shiny behind the toilet. he walked over to it. it seemed to be a razor blade in a plastic baggy taped behind the toilet. Cas took it off of the wall it was taped to and inspected it.

he could see it had a bit of blood on it. he could tell it was Dean's.

"maybe he just shaves with it and doesn't want me to steal it" Cas thought to himself.

"wait.... he has an electric razor to shave. I've seen him use it... oh my chuck" Cas said to himself.

Cas walked out of the bathroom and saw Dean in the same position. wearing the same old sweater he always wears. it looked like he's had it all his life. Cas laid down on his bed and took out an unused notebook from his bag. he was going to write about his day. he felt like this would be appropriate at the time.

hello. I'm Castiel. this is stupid I understand nothing but I'm going to do it anyways. so I woke up and I remembered that Dean was drunk last night and he was going to have a really bad headache. so I grabbed some pain killers and a glass of water and put it on his bedside table. I had classes in a few hours and Meg told me to meet her at 5:30am to "Netflix and chill" which turned out she wanted to have intercourse but I didn't want to and she got mad. I don't want my first time to be someone I don't like. well, at least the first time that I'll remember. Yeah, I used to get drunk all the time in high school. Not because I was cool but because I wasn't. Anyways, I want it to be with someone I love. I went to classes and whatnot when Meg came up to me and apologized. she asked if I wanted to hang out and I said sure. turns out she wanted intercourse. again. I couldn't say no again so I said yes. we went up to mine and Dean's room and opened the door. she was kissing me while this was happening so it was a bit difficult. once the door was open, I could see Dean and Charlie on Dean's bed. Meg got mad. again. she left. I was going to thank Charlie and Dean but that ended when Charlie was no longer there and Dean was laying on his bed the opposite way. I went into the bathroom and saw something that I cannot prove 100%. I came outside and saw Dean sleeping. I wish I could heal him. I really do.

Cas closed the book and threw it underneath his bed. Dean was now facing the same way as Cas but his eyes were closed. or so it seemed. his eye was slightly cracked open. enough to see what he was doing.

Sam's POV

Dean had told Sam to stay with their uncle bobby. but Bobby was usually out hunting, just like their dad.

Bobby was out of town for the week so Sam invited Gabe over. turns out, the two boys went to the same school but not the same classes.

Sam likes Gabe. as a friend of course. until...

-knock knock knock-

Sam opened the door to see Gabe standing there with a goofy smile.

"hey" Sam said.

"hi" Gabe responded.

"come in." Sam welcomed.

"oh you can take your jacket of and throw it on the couch and throw your shoes by the closet next to Dean's sexuality" Sam said and Gabe chuckled.

"my brother said Dean was straight though... noT THAT HE TALKS ABOUT HIM"

"he tells everyone that but I can see him looking at guys. especially one in particular" Sam smiled

"OTP" Gabe laughed.

Sam went into the kitchen and Gabe followed behind him.

"would you like some food or something?" Sam asked.

"do you have-" Gabe started but was interrupted by Sam throwing a pack of gummy worms to him.

"thanks" Gabe smiled and opened the pack.

"let's go to my room" Sam said.

"Is that where all the fun happens?" Gabe flirted a little.

"hahaha" Sam laughed sarcastically.

"how about we play super smash brothers?" Sam suggested.

"oooh that sounds nice, how do you play?" Gabe asked.

"pretty simple. you just try to win. you'll see" Sam said with a smirk and put the game in.

"YOU'VE NEVED PLAYED THIS HOW DO YOU KEEP WINNING?!?" Sam yelled at Gabriel after he won for the 17th time.

"I DONT KNOW!!" Gabe laughed.

the boys looked at the clock and saw that they've been playing for more than they bargained for.

it was 12:08 am

"hey, wanna go to my secret lair?" Sam asked.

"as long as you don't tie me up" Gabe laughed.

"well.... on second thought" Gabe flirted and Sam blushed.

"kinky" Sam snorted.

Sam took Gabe's hand and lead him to the door.

the boys put their shoes on and Sam threw Gabe a jacket from the closet. Sam opened the door and let Gabe walk out first then followed him. he locked the door behind him and ran to Gabe who was waiting in the cold air.

as they walked down the road they could smell the mildew off the freshly wet grass. it was a long walk of jokes and laughter.

once they got to a forest Sam took the lead and Gabe followed behind him to a small lake just behind the forest.

"wow this is so... pretty" Gabe said.

"I always come here at night. you should see it when the sun comes up. it's so amazing" Sam insisted.

"then I will see it. let's wait out here until sunrise!" Gabe said.

"alright. deal! no falling asleep" Sam said.

"deal" Gabe said and held his hand out for Sam to shake it.

"I'm so tired holy Jesus on a navy boat" Sam yawned again.

"we can go back inside if you want" Gabe giggled.

"no no no it's fine. sun comes out at 6 so 30 more minutes."

"you can take a nap and when it's starting I can wake you up?" Gabe suggested.

"really? ok" Sam said and looked around for a place to lie down.

"it's too wet I'm not getting my hair ruined" Sam said. Gabe pulled Sam to him so he could lie down on his knees.

"thanks" Sam smiled and closed his eyes.

-6:06am

"Sam! Sam wake up!" Gabe whispered as he shook him.

"5 more minutes dad- sir" Sam mumbled.

"are we into that kinky stuff now?" Gabe asked.

"what- oh shit sorry. is the sun rising?" Sam asked as he looked towards the lake.

"wow... the last time I saw this was when I was 7" Sam wowed. (is that a word?)

"I've never seen a sunrise" Gabe giggled.

both the boys were leaning on their hands with their legs crossed when Sam placed his hand on top of Gabe's. Gabe looked down at the hands and smiled. he flipped his hand over and held Sam's. they looked at each other longingly, both hypnotized by each other. they were getting closer and closer until they were 4 inches from each other.

"SAM WINCHESTER!" Sam whipped his head to his name and saw a sight he never wanted to see again.

"d-dad" Sam whimpered.
