Hi guys this is my my first one shot so please be nice.

Prologue

'Faster...'

My wolf said to me as I ran through the woods to the pack meeting.

'I'm trying.'

I say growling in frustration.

'Try harder ,run faster...'

' I am...'

I yell at her.

'...'

Chapter 1

All I could hear was the pounding of my paws as they hit the forest floor in a frenzy to get to the pack meeting. I stop and put jeans and a black T-shirt behind a tree near the treaty line.

My mother and my father... and Alpha Jonah had told me not to be late but of course I was. Every time we have a pack meeting I'm always late. But this time, I knew I would be in trouble because this day was important to us all...this was the day that the very first Alpha found his mate 500 years ago. Since then every Alpha (who deserves it) in every pack finds his mate on this day and since I'm 17 now I get to go for the first time.

As soon as I finished my thoughts I was at the line of trees right before the clearing where the meeting was being held. I changed behind one of the trees and walked into the clearing. Suddenly all eyes were on me.

"Ahh Raine you've finally decided to join us?." Alpha says as soon as I walk in to the clearing. " Sorry Alpha." I say with my head towards the ground. "It's fine Raine you are not the last one to arrive." He says looking behind me.

"Wha -" I start as I turn around and stop in mid sentence as I saw the most beautiful man I've ever seen.
"Sorry we're late Alpha Jonah." The man said in an alpha tone.
"Oh its quite alright Alpha Aiden we had a late traveller ourselves." He says looking at me and I blush.

The man called Alpha Aiden looked at me and I looked back. Immediately it felt as if we were the only two people in the world.

"...Mate..." My wolf says to me as I realize whet just happened. Suddenly I heard a low growl and heard the word I would never expect an alpha to say to me.

"...MATE!..."

Everyone gasps including my parents and alpha Jonah as we look at each other silently. I noticed that he had gotten closer to me and was now right in front of me. That's when I realized just how tall he was compared to my height. I have to look up at him.

"Mate..."

Suddenly I was pulled away from him by my father and Alpha Jonah "Hey what are you do-" Alpha Aiden and I say at the same time "-You aren't taking my daughter from me!" My father say

"Daddy-". " No Raine you are only seventeen I won't allow it! "

Suddenly there was a very loud growl from behind us. " you will not take my mate away from me. It is against our laws as you know to keep an Alpha from their mate. And unless she rejects me I will take her. Now Raine what is your decision? "

I stood there blank faced then I realized that this man though he didn't show it he was suffering from loneliness. "Well um I ....uh I... Raine accept...-" I say in a small voice.

Everyone gasps " Raine ...no.!!!!!."

"I....I'm sorry but i.... I have to go!!!!..!!" I stutter and run into the forest shifting in the process.
My wolf was silver with a black moon shaped scar on my upper left thigh.

" Raine come back!" My father called to me.
" Raine please!" My mothers sad voice rang in my head.
" RAINE GET BACK HERE!" Both Alphas commanded running after me.

I finally stop running and shift back once I get to the treaty line. I find my clothes near a tree and change into them. A few moments later I hear foot steps. But I wasn't fast enough.

" Raine ..." My father says and I turn around. When I do I see only 4 people there. My mom,Dad, Alpha Jonah and ...... Alpha Aiden. 'I figured they would send half of the pack after me. '

" Raine come back to the meeting."Alpha Jonah said
"No..." I say
" Why not sweetie? " my mom asks stepping closer.
"You know why mom... The pack looked at me as if I was an idiot for accepting him as my mate...." My voice was quiet and shaky. "You're not an idiot." My mate suddenly said. I looked over to him and he was leaning against a tree looking into my eyes. He looked as if he was a little angry.
" Thank you..." He nods quietly.

"Sweetie please come back."
"..........." I stare quietly at my mom
" Raine come back."My dad interrupts.
" No...why would I listen to you!?" I sneer at him.
" Raine ?!" He snaps angrily "Dad I'm not a baby anymore, I can take care of myself!" I yell. "You are 17 years old Raine you are not responsible enough!" "Says you mom thinks I'm responsible enough to take care of myself." " Raine you are 17 I won't allow this" " I'll do whatever the hell I want." "No you won't as long as you live under my roof you follow my rules."
"That's bullsh-" " John - Raine ,stop ,please" "stay out of this Claire" my father says

He"Enough!!!" Alpha Jonah yells walking towards us along with Alpha Aiden "You both are being childish. But you are both right John she is to young I agree but she is also very responsible. Except when it comes to getting somewhere on time. Even if you think she isn't ready for this.... She is...because she made a decision to be with him and there is nothing you can do about it." He says looking back and forth between us.

"I just don't want you to get hurt Raine . " my dad says softly.
"I won't daddy."I say reassuringly
"I would never hurt her Beta John... she is my mate." He said looking down at me .

"You better not hurt her." My father says glaring. "I wont.". Alpha Aiden growls out restraining himself from hurting my dad.
They stare at each other silently.

"OK that's enough you two. We need to get back to the packs we will talk about this later. OK?" Alpha Jonah said obviously annoyed.

"Yes Alpha." My father says angrily.
Alpha Aiden just nods quietly.

"Good now why don't we all go so we can get there before the packs kill each other?" Alpha Jonah says. Again Alpha Aiden nods before Alpha Jonah walks off. My parents then grab each others hands and follows quickly and quietly.

Alpha Aiden and I walk slowly behind until we lose sight of my parents. "You are very quiet for an alpha." I say just trying for make small talk with him. "Well why should I have to strain my voice, unless there is a good reason to?" He said softly. "Oh." I say a little to quickly.

A couple minutes later he says"...is there something wrong? " " w-what no nothing's wrong." 'Shit I stuttered' he stops walking and grabs my hand and looks in to my eyes. "Don't lie to me."

" its just... Thanks for not hurting him it really meant a lot to me. " " I wouldn't have hurt him anyway." I look at him confused. "Because I know it would hurt you in the process." He says softly in my ear and then pulls away. "We should go" I say breathlessly."yeah ..." He says keeping my hand in his and starts walking again neither of us made no move to pull away.

Yep he sure is 'My Quiet Alpha'.
