Chapter 5

Ellington's POV

Well, Court seems nice. I mean it was a pity she left so quickly, everyone wanted to get to know her. Especially Del! Delly has always wanted another girl around, I mean sure she has Ry but that as close to a girl as it ever got."Babe? You okay? You seem, i dunno, a bit upset..." I ask as I pull Del into a hug.

She releases from my arms and walks off. I could see tears in her eyes so I followed her. I don't want to push it but she seems really down. Here goes nothing I guess.

Rydel's POV

*KNOCK, KNOCK, KNOCK*

Great someone noticed. "What do you want?" I ask coming off quite rude. "Delly, it's me... Ellington. Baby what's up?" He replies in a sweet tone. I wish he hadn't noticed but seeing he has, I may as well talk to him.

"It's nothing really... I just think I went a little overboard about Courtney. I was just so excited that there was another girl in the house and now she seems so scared she might never want to come back!" I explain. I look up to see Ell pulling out his phone, really? I spill out how I feel and he goes to his phone!

I look over at him and he is texting someone, i can't tell who though. The name is just a microphone and a guitar emoji. Whatever! "Delly, babe, I've got to go. Ross is gonna come and check on you in a few minutes. I love you baby!" He says, he kisses my cheek and walks to the door. How can he just leave? 'UGH GUYS!' I think to myself.

"I know right!" Somebody says pushing the door open. 'OMG did I say that out loud!?' I think. "Uh yah, you did. Um, Ellington said that you were upset and I figured I should be the one to talk to you."The voice says as it gets closer. It sure an't Ross, it's not his voice. So knowing that, I look up. "Oh, um, Courtney... Hi, I thought you left..." I say startled. "Well we did, but Ell texted Ross and I saw it so I said I left my 'jacket' up here... I'm sorry if I wasn't too friendly. I don't have many good experiences with people and it was a bit overwhelming..." She says as she sits on my bed next to me.

"Courtney, don't apologize. I realize that I was a bit over the top about my welcome. It's just that I've always been surrounded by the boys and never have they ever bought a girl that I don't know home and I was just so excited. I'm sorry, I hope you aren't scared of me because I'd really like to be friends." I explain quickly.

Courtney's POV

"Seriously! Friends!?" I shout at her, okay that might of sounded like I hate her guts... "I mean, Yeah. That's cool..." I recover from my little panic attack. My phone vibrates in my pocket. I pull it out and Rydel says, "Really? YAY! We are gonna be bestest buddies! Call me Delly, what's your number so I can message you?" As she spoke I opened up my message.

The sexiest beast ever... aka ROSSY BAE!: Come on! I'm bored, wait they didn't kidnap you did they!?

OMG he changed his name again!? Man I love this guy. As I go to reply Delly takes my phone and does something. When she hands it back she has added herself to my contacts as 'MY QUEEN DELLY SLAYS!!' This family, they are all so alike. She also messaged herself and *BUZZ*! She messaged me back... I reply to Ross.

Me: Be down in a sec baby :)

"Delly, I've gotta go... Ross is bored and I need to get home. I'll talk to ya later though!!" I yell as I try to walk out the door. She pulls me back into a giant bear hug and squashes me! "OKAY BESTIE LOVE YOUUUUUUUU!!!" She yells as I run out the door into my beautiful boyfriends arms.

"Geez! Took long enough!" He says as we continue to walk out the door. "Ahhh yeahhhhh, soz forgot where your room was..." I trail off trying to not let him notice I was lying.

Ross' POV
Something happened, she is lying... I can tell. The way she just trailed off, but I mean also the act that she came back with no jacket. And I don't remember her even taking one to start with. "Sooooo... Court. Your jacket? Uh where is it??" I ask curious to see what she says. "Oh aha yeah, sorry I must have forgotten to tell you when I came down. When I finally found your room with a little help from... Uh, Rydel. Well I remembered that I had decided not to take a jacket. So I basically got you to go back for nothing..." She says.

*BUZZ*

I look at her phone that had just vibrated. A message from Del? I didn't realize that she and Delly even spoke besides that little moment at the start of dinner... Oh well. If they are friends then I'm happy my family like her and I am even more happy that she likes them! It's such a relief to know you family and your girlfriend get along.
