I woke up the next morning feeling numb at my fingertips due to the fact that I'd slept with my arms beneath me.I snuggled deeper into the soft bed trying to will my body back to sleep since the sun was just rising, but it didn't work. I was up now. I really hate being one of those people that once they're up; there's no going back to sleep. With a groan I rolled out of bed and went straight to the bathroom.
Once I was done taking a shower, I towel dried and wrapped my bathrobe around my body. I went into my closet and moved to the more casual side of the room. Scanning the clothes, I selected a navy blue blazer, a pair of ripped Abercrombie jeans and a white blouse.
Once I was all dressed up, I sat at my vanity and stared at my reflection in the mirror. I really didn't feel like wearing any makeup today. I applied lipstick, mascara, eyeliner, and a few other essential stuff like blush, slipped on a pair of wedge heels, curled my hair before picking up my black leather tote and taking one last look at myself in the mirror.
My sisters were with seated with Mom when I got to the dining room.
"Hello everyone!" I called out, grabbing a glass and pouring myself some juice.
"Why are you always up so early?" Cassie questioned.
"How does it affect you?" I scoffed, holding back a grin.
She muttered something under her breath and I decided to ignore her.
"I'm off to school now." I announced before walking towards the door.
"Wait Star!" My mother instructed, and I retraced my steps. "I'll be going to Prague today. I have a case I need to work on there. I'll be gone for a month at least and your Grandma will be here on Wednesday. Try not to give her too much trouble, okay."
"Alright Mom." we all chorused, Hailey's voice overpowering.
I walked out of the house, very excited that Grandma Ellen was going to be visiting soon.
The thing is, my parents have this theory that children should be left to make decisions concerning their lives, so we're left to do basically whatever we feel is right. But this doesn't go well with Grandma and I support her because Cassie uses the freedom to the best of her advantage and I don't like it.
I turned the knob on the front door to William's house and it opened. I found him sitting on a stool at the counter in the kitchen on his pajamas eating.
"Why are you still in your nightclothes?" I asked and he just looked up at me and went back to his food.
"I'm talking to you William "
"If you're here to bug me then be my guest."
"You're so annoying sometimes."
"Says the seventeen year old who's still a virgin." He teased.
Don't judge me. There's been so many times when I almost had sex with a boy but it just didn't feel like the right moment to do it especially my ex boyfriend, Josh.
"Just go and get dressed," I said to William, "I'll be waiting in the living room." and then I walked out and sat on the couch.
Joshua Bowman was a really nice boy even though he was highly possessive at times. I dated him for a few months until I caught him cheating on me with Trina Delano, my arch enemy. I broke up with him but I wasn't hurt because throughout the time I was with him, I never really liked him. He was a jock, popular, handsome, it seemed right to be with him at the time since we would make the perfect couple.
I sighed. It was a very wrong decision I had made.
"Let's go now." William said, finally ready. He was wearing a very T-shirt he'd paired with jeans and we wore his signature Classic Man cologne.
"Okay." I told him, taking my time to check him out.I could see every perfectly chiseled muscle through the thin fabric of his shirt, which instantly caused me to breathe in sharply.
He ran a hand through his hair and smirked which made him look more attractive and totally handsome.
"Don't worry Cedric and Treasure are not going to be coming with us today so you've got plenty of time to drool over me."
"You're so full of yourself William Miller." I rolled my eyes while he opened the passenger door to his Jeep and he chuckled as he got in the car.
Chapter two here!!!! I didn't feel like writing much here and I also wanted to get started on the next chapter ASAP so this is it for y'all.
