"Star, dinner's ready!" I heard my sister Cassandra yell from my bedroom where I was doing homework.
I sighed as I closed my books and headed downstairs.
"Where's Hailey?" I asked, taking a seat at the dining table where my mother and little sister were already seated.
"Oh, she called to say she'll be out with a few friends and won't be coming home tonight" my mom replied.
