Fall Tree w/ Crayons

So I made this using a canvas, brown paint, some fall colored crayons, hot glue, and a hair dryer. So first off I painted the bare trunk. After that dried I broke the crayons apart into smaller pieces and hot glued them to the canvas. Then I took a hairdryer and used it to melt the crayons and blow the wax where I wanted it to go. The only bad thing about this was that it made my moms hair dryer VERY colorful and I had to scrape the wax off. Also the glue reheated at times and the crayon pieces would slide. Overall it was fun and I was happy with the outcome, though if I ever do anything like this again I will DEFINITELY do it over a trash bag or something so I don't get crayon wax all over the counter.
