I walked down the hall after my date with Cristian with a giant smile plasttered on my face. I was hoping Lilly would come down the hall to see it. she still didn't trust my reasoning for dating the boy from Smoothie king.

after kicking off my high-heels I greet my cat Sutton. lilly is out with her friend tonight. Well boy-friend. I totally ship them. Shes been seeing him for almost 2 months now!

I here my phone ring and get up off the ground from my puring cat to my purse on the counter.

Charlie.... i thought. I smiled.

"Hey chuck!" I exclaimed in to my phone.

"I assume your home from your date with the Smoothie king guy?"

"His name is Cristian, and he is probably the sweetest guy i've ever met."

"hey! I thought I was the sweetest guy you've ever met!" he was acting all offended.

"Meh..." I teased and laughed at him.

"What' you do?"

"we went to Jonson garden and-"

"Wait hold on a sec Jonson garden?! That place is like super expensive!

"Yeah, but his uncle and aunt are partners with phillip Jonson. the owner of the original restraunt." I bragged on cristian.

"Oh. cool. Do you still need a ride to rehearsal tomorrow?"

"Oh! I was so hung up on tonight that I completly forgot about rehearsal!" i facepalmed myself. "Yeah i could use a lift. Thanks Charlie. I can always count on you."

"yeah. sure thing."

"Great! see you tomorrow then!"

I jumped in to the shotgun seat in Charlies car. We sang along to the newsies soundtrack on the way to our morning rehearsal.

I look over at my best friend and notice all of the little things that I love about him.

The way he smiles when he sings

How his neck gets tense when he shouts in the song the World will know.

His terible jokes.

The way he scares me with his driving.

When he freaks out about when his hair isnt perfect.

I couldn't ever see how much I cared for Charlie until I saw all of the things I didn't like about cristian.

How he clinks the silverware on his teeth.

How much he talks with his hands.

He's not Charlie.

I see my best friend and all the things I love about him and I can't help but fall everytime i see his smile.

"goodnight, sir Shrek." I smile at charlie.

"See ya, morning girl."

"Hoorayy!" I walk into my apartment and find lilly at the table sharing some coffee with her boy-friend, Mark. all was still as they starred at me from the kitchen table.

"Ima go to my bedroom now......" I point down the hall and walk to my room to avoid anymore akward.

I stay up all night texting charlie. He always knows how to make me smile.
