The phoenix rising

I want to tell you,
So many things,
Like I love you,
I miss you,
I need you,
But I can't,
Because you left me here,
And now I'm trapped in this iridescent hell without you,
I'm beginning to burn in the pain,
My skin rotting and decaying,
Almost nothing left,
But you still don't return,
From the ashes of what used to be,
Me, I arise,
New and unharmed,
Ready to attack,
Poised with my newfound courage,
But you still haven't returned,
So I wait,
Keeping my anger in a bottle that's growing so quickly,
Until you come back,
Wanting to pick up where we left off,
But you don't expect what's coming next,
I detonate in a fiery explosion,
Burning the brightest fire,
Hearing your screams for help,
But I leave you there,
Yelling for your family,
As you did to me,
And I don't turn back.
