Chapter 1

Emma pov...
Henry and I get in the car and start to drive out of town. It's sad I have finally found my family and now I leave and won't remember them.
We said goodbye to everyone by Neal as he wasn't there. I hope that everyone will be alright when the curse hits them.

After crossing the town line...
Henry and I are moving from Boston to New York after 13 years. We are leaving because our last house caught fire and we wanted a fresh start.

Being honest I still don't believe my life. I never knew my birth parents and I was put in foster care and orphanages until I ran away.
I met Neal one day and we were together for years until he left me going to jail when I was 18. I found out I was having a baby shortly after I got there. I was going to give him away but decided not to. I got sent car keys to the yellow bug that Neal and I used.
After I was released from prison I became a bail bonds person raising my son Henry.

We arrive at our new place and set everything up. Within in a week we are in our normal routine of me going to work and Henry going to school and what we do at home.

Six months later...
Walsh and I have been dating now for two months since Henry and I moved to New York. We meet each other at his furniture store 'The Wizard of Oak'
I was getting ready to go on a date when there is a knock on the door, I open it expecting Walsh but it's not.
"Neal" I say shocked.
"Hello Emma" he says
"What are you doing here and how did you know where I live?" I ask him.
"It took a while I have been looking for you two for six months" he says
"Us two" I say confused.
He nods and says "yes you and Henry"
" I haven't seen you since you let me get sent to prison all those years ago how do you know about Henry?" I ask
He says "you were cursed and don't remember the truth"
"Cursed, what are you on about?" I say
Instead of responding he kisses me and I get a flash of memories go through my head. I hug him and say "Neal"
"Good to have you back Emma"
We go back in the apartment and are about to get a drink when there is another knock on the door, this time it is Walsh. I see him and say "I'm sorry but I can't go out with you anymore"
He nods and leaves without looking back.
I go back to Neal and say "it's good to see you again"
He nod and says "you too"
We get a drink and sit down he says "before the curse hit I left the town so that I would be able to find you again"
I smile at him and say "I'm glad you did"
He says "I guess our love must really be true if with one kiss you managed to remember everything"
I hug and kiss him before sitting beside him.
Henry walks in from his room and says "mom who's this and I thought you were going out with Walsh tonight"
I say "um well this is Neal your father"
"What?" He asks shocked.
"Yeah he just found where we live and explained some things, he's a good guy"
"Ok then" he says
Neal says "hi Henry"
He responds with "hi dad"
We talk for a while so Henry can learn as much about his father as he can without revealing truth about the fairytale world. I guess we have to change as Henry doesn't remember but we do. It doesn't matter anyway as we can't go back and see everyone anyway.
We decide that Neal will stay with us and can share a room with me now.

One month later...
Neal and I go out on a dinner date where he proposes to me and I say yes. We know it's fast but we belong together get her and have been in love for years. We get home and Henry is happy as we will now officially be a proper family. Too bad he doesn't remember about Storybrooke.

One week later...
I get up early one day to take a test in the bathroom. I walk back out to mine and Neals bedroom, he asks "is everything alright?"
I shrug and say "I guess, I have something to tell you"
He asks "what?"
I say "well I'm pregnant"
He hugs me and says "that's great news"
At breakfast I ask Henry "how would you feel about a sibling?"
He smiles and says "am I getting one?"
Neal nods and Henry says "yay"
I smile at him and we have a family hug.

Five months later...
Neal and Henry are out shopping and there is a knock on the door. I open it and he says "don't shut the door hear me out"
I smile and say "hello Hook"
He is shocked and says "you remember"
I nod and say "what are you doing here?"
"Storybrooke is back and needs your help. You and Henry need to come back"
"What happened?" I ask
He says "I don't know, I got a letter saying there is a new curse and to find you"
I nod and say "alright but Henry doesn't have any memories of Storybrooke"
He pulls out a bottle from his coat and says "a memory potion it was for you but you don't need it"
I laugh and say "that's lucky then"
I invite him in and he suddenly sees my stomach, I laugh and he says "congratulations"
"Thanks, I'm about five months along" I say.
He asks "who's the father?"
Before I answer Henry walks back in. He sees Hook and asks "who is this guy mom?"
I don't answer I get up and give him the memory potion and say "drink this"
He says "I remember everything now mom"
I smile and say "that's good because we are going back.
I don't see Neal around and asks Henry "where is your dad?"
Henry says "I don't know he was behind me"

I walk out into the hallway and see Neal fighting Walsh. Walsh looks at me and says "I now know why you left me, you shouldn't have remembered"
I stand just stand there and Walsh suddenly turns into a flying monkey, I look at him surprised. He goes to attack me so Neal hits him in the head and he falls over the stairs and down the 8 flights of stairs until he hits the bottom(the stairs are in the square pattern so there is a gap in the middle).
Neal asks "are you alright?"
I nod and say "yeah we're fine he didn't touch us"
Neal smiles and says "what was that thing?"
"I don't know but we better get out of here" I say.
He asks "and go where?"
I have a big smile on my face and say "back home to Storybrooke"
He is stunned and says "what?"
"Hook is inside, he said that a new curse brought the town back. Ohh and by the way Henry has his memory back now"
I can still see the stunned look on his face as he says "alright then" and we go back inside the apartment.
Hook sees Neal and says "good to see you mate"
Neal nods and says "I'd love to stand around talking but we have to get out of here"
Henry asks "why?"
I say "Walsh is a flying monkey that just tried to attack us outside so I think we need to get back to Storybrooke now"
Neal says "good idea, quickly get anything you need and then we will start the drive back to Storybrooke.
