Chapter 2 Hide and seek

They got to Lucy's house in a few minutes. They talked the whole way, both were happy they finally got a chance to hang out again. Happy was very excited to get to Lucy's house cause he was STARVING. Luckily Lucy had some tuna for him, and he ate it like their was no tomorrow.
"So what do you want to do?" Lucy asked. She was hoping he would say something romantic like, cuddle while watching a movie, or eat a candlelit meal (hey a girl can dream) but no. He instead replied "LETS PLAY HIDE AND SEEK!" Happy instantly said "yeah! Lucy you count!" "I don't remember agreeing to this" Lucy said a little annoyed. "Come on it'll be fun! Now go count to 50" Natsu said smiling from ear to ear. "Ugh fine" Lucy said then started to count.
"18... 19... 20! Ready or not here I come!" Lucy looked around her room. She looked under her bed, behind her chairs. She looked everywhere but she couldn't find them. Finally she went in her bathroom and saw natsu trying to hide behind the see-through curtains. "Found you!" Lucy said. "No you didn't" Natsu replied "just help me find happy." Natsu got out of the shower and started helping Lucy find happy. "Come on happy! Come out come out wherever you are!" Natsu repeated multiple times.
Finally they found happy in the fridge eating all of Lucy's tuna. "Hey! Tuna cost money you know!" Lucy said aggravated. "Whatever" happy said with a mouth full of tuna. "Hey why don't I be the seeker this round." Happy said. "Sure I don't care" Natsu said. Lucy had a feeling he was just going to use his counting time to eat, but she didn't care. "Alright fine, natsu let's hide"
"Let's hide under here" Natsu whispered as he started to crawl under the bed. Lucy had a pretty high bed but her bed sheets were so long they went to the floor so they could easily hide under there.
Lucy and natsu laid looking at each other. Lucy felt a little embarrassed and started to blush, she had never been this close to natsu. "Happy's probably going to take awhile" Natsu said. "Y-yeah" was all Lucy could muster. "Hey are you okay?" "Yup I'm fine" Lucy managed to say. Natsu said for a second and just stared into her eyes. A second grew to a minute, then a minute grew to five minutes until Lucy finally said "hey natsu?" "Yeah" "I-i like you... A lot." Natsu didn't look affected by this and simply replied "yeah I like you too, that's why we're friends right?" Well he sure isn't smart Lucy though then said "No I mean I have a crush on you." Natsu looked at her, stunned. He had no idea what to say or to think. Did he have feelings for Lucy? Then he answered with "I've had a crush on you since the day we met" Lucy was filled with relief and smiled. "So... Do you want to go out? On a date?" She asked "sure" Natsu smiled the kissed her forehead "but first let's get out from under this bed."
