Chapter 3 The First Kiss

Lucy and natsu had been together for a little over a month now. They've been on countless dates but the one Lucy was most excited about is this one. "I can't believe we're going to see the cherry blossoms right after they bloom!!" Lucy squealed insanely happy. "Well anything to make you happy" Natsu said then kissed her cheek. Lucy and natsu haven't had their first kiss yet, so far it's just been cheek, forehead, and hand, but natsu was hoping to change that on this date.

They got to the cherry blossoms just in time. They were bursting with beauty. They were the perfect shade of pink, a few petals fell onto the ground making it even more spectacular. "Wow natsu they're amazing!" Lucy was smiling from ear to ear. Every year it was a tradition in Lucy's family to go out and watch the cherry blossoms bloom, and she was glad she got to do that this year with natsu.
"Yeah but they're not as amazing as you" Natsu said then looked down at her. He put his hand on her face so they were looking into each other's eyes. "I love you" Natsu said. Lucy was so happy she almost couldn't speak "I-I love you too natsu" she was blushing a bright red. Natsu smiled then pulled her into a kiss. They both felt sparks fly.
They kissed for a couple minutes only stopping to breathe. Finally when they pulled away they both were bright red and smiling. "I'm really happy we started dating" Lucy said as natsu put his arm around her. "Me too Lucy, me too" then they watched the cherry blossoms until it got dark. Then they kissed goodbye and left incredibly happy.
