Thomas walks me towards a big room with a big long window and there is a desk with stacks of books and papers. Thomas closes the two long doors and walks over to the desk. He sits down in the chair and nods to me that I should sit down in one of the seats in front of the desk. I sit down and Thomas begins to speak. "Teresa, I know it's suddenly scary that a random boy just comes up to you and says that you're his mate right?" I nod. Obviously it's scary! "Well I want you to understand that you can trust me. You can trust me with anything you know? I know it's hard for you but please. Have faith in me. Take your time dear. There's no rush." I glare at him. Thomas clears his throat and says "There's two kind of mates, destined mates and soulmates. You and I, Teresa are different. We're both. Destined and Soulmates." I swallow. This doesn't sound good! "Thomas but how?" I blurt out. Thomas smirks at me and says "Teresa I bet your parents were werewolves. They didn't tell you. Right?" I nod. "Teresa it's okay. As long as you're with me you're safe." Thomas says softly. I just look at him. "But there are rules. Number one, no skinny jeans." I just glare at him in shocked. "Number two, you do as I say. Number three, never go beyond the gates. And lastly you or anyone else aside Newt and Minho, cannot go to the fifth floor without my permission. Okay?" Thomas says. I nod and look away from his chocolate brown eyes. "Also Teresa, I won't force you at anything that you feel uncomfortable with or don't like." Thomas says. I shake my head and stand up. "Well I better get going..." I say. "No." he says firmly. "Wait why?" I say. "You live now with me. You get your own room and stuff. But you may never go beyond those gates! Do you understand?" Thomas says deadly. I glare at him with annoyance but shake my head. He nods and dismisses me.
