Chapter 1

♧Nikki's POV♧

"Oh sweetie I'm going to miss you!" Mattie cooed. She kissed my cheek as Khloe and I set out. Mattie was my and Khloe's adopted mother. We loved her and everything but we where excited to move in with Cassandra. She was my and Khloe's best friend. She said she had a surprise for us. I don't know what her surprise would be but Khloe and I wondered. We grabbed our things and headed to the moving truck. Khloe climbed into the passenger truck as we buckled in.

"I'm so scared, Nikki." Khloe said.

"Cassandra will take good care of us." I promised not knowing if I was right.

We drove out of Kansas all the way to
Maryland. It'd be smarter to fly but we didn't want to. It took us 17 hours taking stops here and there. By the time we reached Cassandra's house it was 5:08 pm.

"Hey!" Cassandra hugged Khloe and I as we knocked on the door.

"Why are there 3 cars in the driveway?" I asked not caring honestly.

"That's my surprise dingdong. My brother Alex is living with us." She smiled.

"Alex Garskath? Huh?" Khloe asked.

"The lead vocalist of All Time Low." I said secretly cheering on the inside trying not to explode.

"Oh your emo bands." Khloe asked. I rolled my eyes.

"Yeah my 'emo bands'. " I laughed sarcastically.

"Also Alex's girlfriend will be living with us Kassedy. Along with Jack Barracat." My eyes lit up as she said that.

"Your serious?" I asked. Cassandra nodded smirking. I had always liked Jack I had many posters of him.

We started bringing in our things and there he was. Jack Barracat sitting before me. He glanced at me then back at the TV. My room was on the second from across from Khloe's room and another room. I dropped my stuff and brought in more loads of shit. No one helped besides Cassandra. After bringing everything in I was happy to be done.
