When I left, I had no idea where I was going, or what I was planning on doing. I half expected Claire to call and tell me to go back and we would have another fight but when my phone rang about fifteen minutes later it wasn't Claire.
"Where the hell are you? Mom just said you'd left, she wouldn't tell us anything else! Are you coming back? Izzy's balling her eyes out. she's really upset, can you please explain what you're doing?" Jase's voice yelled at me from the other side of the phone and I moved it a little away from my ear.
"I'm going to the air port. I'm not coming back." I say, deciding in that moment what I am going to do.
"What? How can you just make a decision like that? Where are you going?" To my surprise, Jase doesn't sound mad. He sounds upset.
"I'm going to buy two tickets to London. I'm starting a new life there."
Silence at the other end of the line.
"Okay. Just let me come and say good bye to you. I'll bring Izzy too."
"Jase, you don't need to-"
"Yes, I do. See you at the air port. I'll meet you there. Don't go until you've said good bye to me and Izzy."
"Alright, whatever. See you soon."
I end the call and put my phone back in my pocket and glance over at Alfie who has fallen asleep in the passenger seat. Why is the little guy so tired all of a sudden?
I pull my phone back out of my pocket and quickly google how long it takes to fly from Texas to London. The first sight I look at says ten hours and fifteen minutes. I pocket my phone again and decide to focus on my driving.
*TWENTY MINUTES LATER*
I hold Alfie's hand in one of my own, and the suitcase in the other hand as I walk through the doors into the airport. About five minutes later, I hear someone screaming my name and turn around just in time to see Izzy coming straight at me. I yelp and jump to the side. Not fast enough. She grabs me around the waist and tackles me to the ground.
"Izzy!" I shriek "What are you doing?"
"Don't you ever just run off like that again!!!" She yells in my ear.
People around us are giving us funny looks, but Izzy doesn't seem to care.
"Izzy! What the hell? I think you just made me deaf!" I say, half laughing and half crying.
She just holds onto me and doesn't let go.
"Storm!" Jase runs up to us and pulls me into a hug, even though Izzy is still hanging onto me.
We stand there like that for about five minutes and then Jase let's go and ruffles Alfie's hair before kneeling down in front if him.
"Take good care of my sister, okay big guy?" He asks.
Alfie just nods and Izzy finally lets go of me "Don't go, Storm! Please don't go!" She sobs.
"I have to" I tell her "I can't stay anyway."
She swallows hard and then nods in understanding. I take Alfie's hand again smile. I've always hated saying good bye.
After I say good bye to Izzy and Jase I buy two tickets for the next flight to London which leaves in two and a half hours.

"Where are we going?" Alfie asks me as we walk through the London airport.
