"Liyah,get up ! You have school!"

Yep this is my first day going to school in California. There summer here was about 3 months long plus the summer I had in Atlanta was like a month because I left so I'm ready for school. Its been a stressful summer and I'm happy I get to get a break and so some work . sounds weird but I'm a nerd I love school.

"Liyah,are you going to get out of bed or stay there forever ?" My mama joked

"Haha!" I sarcastically laughed."I was just doing a little thinking Thats all ." I got out of bed and stretched. "I'm ready to meet new people ."

I walked to my bathroom and took a shower once I was done I got dressed in a black pencil skirt,with a all white shirt on,my black sandals and a gold chain. I curled my hair and added some lip gloss. I grabbed my purse,phone,and keys and walked downstairs.

"I'm ready ma." I said examining my outfit.

"Girl tell tupac to stop calling this phone all hours of the Day! He's running this bill up !"

I mugged at the hearing of his name."were not on speaking terms right now. "

"Why is that? Y'all was so close ?"
"I'm just getting tired of him Thats all. Can we go Now?" I asked getting a little aggravated about this topic

"Ima find out what's going on. " she said as she walked out the house

"Its nothing to concern yourself with. "

"Mmm right. "

We got in the car and the ride was really quiet. I just kept looking out the window. I didn't want to make eye contact with her because I knew she would bring the topic backup. While I was looking out the window I seen that girl that tupac was all over. She was with a group of people and they was having a heavy dicussion. Once she seen me ,she gave me good eye contact until I was out of her sight. I shook the thought out or my head and looked forward.

"Were here baby!"

"Yay." I said sarcastically.

"Whats wrong?"

"I'm just a little nervous ,but I'll see you later.you picking me up right ?"

"No I can't I have to work,you'll have to walk home. "

"Oh okay,well bye ." I gave her a kiss and exited the car.

Soon as I got out of the car all eyes was on me. I felt a little awkward so I broke the silence.

"Damn,what y'all starring at ?"

I walked into school and to the main office for my schedule. I walked in the office and someone bumped into me,I mean knocked my bag off my shoulder and everything.

"Can you watch where you going?" I asked with an attitude

'My bad ma,here. " he handed me my bag

"Thanks I guess." I took my bag from him and kept walking til I got to the main office desk

"Hi,can I help you ?"

"Yes my name is Aaliyah haughton I'm new and I need my schedule. "

"Okay...here you go,your from Atlanta ?"

"Yes ma'am."

"Me too girl,but have a nice day."

"Thanks,you too. "

I walked out of the office and looked at my first class , theater arts room 406. I made my way to class and once I did I was nervous ass hell. I took a deep breath then entered the room ,all eyes was on me.

"And who must you be ?" The teacher asked

"Uh....hi I'm uh....aaliyah I'm new." I shyly spoke

"Ohhh class this is our new student aaliyah ! Please take a seat !"

"Okay."

Skipping to the end of school

School was finally over and I had to walk home . I grabbed my bag and walked out of the school but while I was walking some girl bumped me.

"Uhm excuse you !" I said loudly

"Your excused ,and watch where your going you hit my Gucci bag."

"No,you watch where your going you bumped me!"

She mugged me then walked out of the school.I smirked and followed I'm trying to get home.
