Okward's POV
I looked at my phone. 3:20. Kaden's audition is at 3:30. If I drive fast enough I can at least watch it. I know I was just mad at her about it but I do want to see what this place is all about. I sighed and called a taxi.
Kaden's POV
I finished practice with my audition partner, Travis. We are doing the song, 'best thing I never had'. The routine is loads of fun. Plus I think Travis might like me.
Okward's POV
I entered the auditorium silently as they called Kaden's name apparently she's dancing with this boy name Travis but whatever. I watched as she walked out with Travis and they began.
The dance was great but Travis seemed flirtatious while dancing more than I would like. I just shook it off until at the end of the dance.
Kaden's POV
I got so excited after the performance I kinda kissed Travis on stage, but it's not like Okward will know. It was a one time thing.
Travis and I ran backstage. I picked up my phone, one text from... Okward? I looked at the text, which read:
Dear Kaden
I love you but I can see you don't feel the same. Sorry I wasted your time when you could've been spending it with that Travis dude, just know that you will always be in my heart.
I was confused until I saw the picture of me and Travis kissing. Wait was Okward in the crowd. I sighed before putting my head in my hands.
