Imagine:
Being with Niall is like a daydream. It doesn't quite feel real, it feels like a fantasy.
Ever since you were a young tween with bad acne you have been fabricating situations in which you and Niall are together, and now that they're coming true you can't believe it. Just 2 years ago you thought "what would Niall do if he was here?" at least once a day, whether it was at school, at home, watching Netflix, eating dinner, it didn't matter.
Every time you look at him next to you, you have to remind yourself that it's not just another paparazzi picture or fan video, it's the real deal. You learn new things about him every day, like how he broke his nose when he was a kid so that's why its slightly crooked, about his tiny penis-shaped birthmark on his leg, about how he's still insecure about his scars from his knee surgeries and about how he is scrawnier than Liam, etc.
You wish you could write a letter to your past self, telling her how things would work out.
A letter, like the one that started it all. When you were 15 you and some of your best friends met Niall and Harry outside and airport before a show. Your best best best friend Rachel managed to write a letter to Harry, her favorite, and get it to him. On the bottom of said letter she included her twitter. One day, many many months later, she had called you, hysterical with the news that Harry had followed her. They started up a DM conversation, and he actually responded to her on the daily. From there, the impossible happened. After a series of insane 1% chances, their relationship blossomed and Rachel introduced you to the love of your life, Niall James Horan.
You knew that you would get along, but you had no idea how close you two would become. After one month together you were inseparable, and he knew everything about you, like how you still sleep with your baby blankets and how your mom was gone so much while you were growing up. He knows about how much you love bright lipsticks and your friends. Every time you look at him euphoria bubbles up in your chest and you think "Is this really my life? How did I ever get so lucky?!" You know exactly how many girls would kill to be in your position, dating a heartthrob like him.
Somewhere deep down you always knew, though. You knew from the beginning that something was different about you. You knew that you weren't just a fan, that you were destined for something more. Girls would flood the social media, talking about him and how "in love" with him they were, but you knew it was different for you. You always pushed down the hope the churned in your heart, knowing that even if you were different, even if you were special, it could never be. How would he ever meet you? Remember you? Love you back?
Yet somehow, it happened.
And this is your life. Long walks with Niall in the park, quiet days just sitting and reading together, red carpet appearances, VIP everything, watching soccer matches together and cheering on your favorite teams. Hanging out with Louis, Liam, Niall, Harry, Zayn, and your friends Rachel, Arielle, Susie and Sarah on Saturday nights for couples night where you drink expensive wine and play charades and talk about Sarah and Liam's new baby girl, Delilah. You have never been happier.
Overall, you'd say you are pretty blessed. He makes you feel so happy and special and loved, and you live out your fantasy every day. You wouldn't trade your little nugget of Irish sunshine for anything in the world.
