"You know when you said join my crew i thought you had more than me?" Pierce said to me as we sat in my smallish sail boat I shrug at him adjusting our course for the next closest island he groaned at my response and I laughed a little according to the map the next island is fish tail island hmm I wonder why its named fish tail island I think to myself I hear a very annoyed sigh from next to me I shoot Pierce a glare "will you cut it out with the sighing already jeez." I tell him slightly annoyed he rolls his eyes "fine well who's next on your crew list?" He asks me I look at him seeing if he was really interested and was satisfied when i saw a glimmer of curiosity in his eye "I suppose I'll be looking for a navigator next." I say to him he frowns slightly "why? you seems to be able to navigate fine." He questions me I nod slowly and sit looking at him "yeah I can navigate but I only know the basics just enough to read a map and not get lost." I tell him with a shrug "we need too have someone who can navigate through the Grandline when we go." I explain too him
He stared at me "we're going to the Grandline?" He asked me I nodded he sighed again and leaned his head against the rails of the boat I shook my head at him and looked out to the open. Sea.

"We're here on fish tail island." I say to Pierce kicking his shin to wake him up. He groans but sits up anyway and glares at me "that was uncalled for." Pierce says to me as he stands and stretchs. His shirt rises up in the front giving me a view of his smooth toned stomach. I look away and step onto the dock "tie up the boat." I tell Pierce as I walk down the dock "yes captain." I hear Pierce say from behind me sarcasm heavy I laugh and wait for him at the end of the dock he follows me and soon we're standing in the middle of town. The town is busy with people but there's something about this place that's weird. There's signs all over the place reading no animals allowed or humans only "what's with these people and animals?" I ask Pierce he shrugs "dont know. Don't really care either." He says I roll my eyes and we start trying to find a restaurant to eat at. We walk up to a small diner and I'm about to pull open the door when strong arms wrap around me and pull me out of the way just as the door flies open and a boy is thrown out onto the street by a burly man "Stay out! Can't you read no animals allowed mut!" The man yells at the boy sprawled out in the street before slamming the door shut "well then." I say stepping away from Pierce and standing next to the boy who was lying flat on his back with his eyes closed I crouch down next to him and poke him in the shoulder "are you alright?" I ask him he groans but opens his eyes and looks at me "yeah I'm just fine." He says
Sitting up he was cute in a playful boyish way he had shaggy blonde hair and big Brown eyes that kind of reminded me of a puppy he wore a white shirt that was open in the front the collar popped up and blue jeans with brown boots he also wore brown fingerless gloves and a brown bandana with a skull on it. I stood up and held a hand out to him he looked at me for a moment suspicion in his eyes and then grabbed my hand allowing me to help him up the boy was taller than me even though i was pretty sure he was younger than me. "What was that guys problem?" I ask the boy in front of me as he dusts the dirt off of his pants the boy scoffs and looks at me and then behind me at Pierce "you guys must not be from around here."he says eying us i hear Pierce snort from behind me "no kidding what gave us away?." Pierce asked his voice dripping with sarcasm. I turn and glare at him he just rolls his visible and looks away from me i turn and look at the blonde infront of me and raise an eyebrow at him and he sighs "The people around here don't like animals so therefore I am an outcast." He says i frown and look him over "you look pretty human to me." I tell him in confusion. "Yeah well everyone else thought that too when i was a kid but you eat stupid fruit and turn into a wolf one time! And then everyone hates you for life!" He exclaims throwing his hands up in the air in frustration. I smirk he ate a Devil fruit just like me its the only explanation. The blonde was still grumbling complaints about stupid town and people when I interrupted him "hey kid what's your name?" I ask him effectively stopping his little rant he looks at me his eyes big and confused at first before the emotion switches to playful excitement he stands a bit straighter and points a thumb at his chest " The names Jack and I'm the best damn navigator in these parts." He boasts I smile at him and point at the still brooding man behind me "that's Pierce." I tell him "and I'm Luz nice to meet you Jack." I say with a smirk "I've only known you for a few days and i already know what that smirk means." I hear Pierce say with a sigh
