"So what's our next island navigator?" I ask Jack while I focus on cleaning my Katana I haven't gotten the chance to use it yet but I had a feeling I would soon. "The next island isn't named but has a town famous for oil on it." He tells me I nod and sheath my weapon when suddenly Jack groans in a highly annoyed tone "whats wrong with you?" Pierce asks Jack gruffly "this is also a Marine controlled island." Jack said I grinned amused "what wrong don't tell me you don't like Marines." I say laughing lightly as he glares at me "how long until we reach the island?" I ask him leaning on the door that led to the small indoor cabin. "In about 3 hours." Jack tells me I nod. We would need a bigger boat really soon this one wasnt small but it wasnt as big a it should be either it was already starting to get cramped with the three of them on board "hey captain." Jacks voice cut through my thoughts I roll my eyes in annoyance at his continued use of calling me captain but I hummed in response to let him know I was listening "why didn't you freak out when I told you about me turning into a wolf?" He asked I opened my eyes in shock he was sitting infront of me staring at me intently waiting for my answer "I'd be on hell of a hypocrite if i judged you for being different." I say to him he tilt his head to the side in confusion I laugh at him "your not the only one with devil fruit powers." I tell him with a wink his eyes widen as he looks at me and I laugh I hear Pierce snort in amusement I glance over at him and see that he's laying on his side his head propped up on on hand and his eye closed I ignore his sarcasm and look at Jack seeing him staring intensely at the open ocean before us "so why else did you join my crew?." I ask Jack he blinks and looks at me with wide eyes. I just look back at him curious to his answer. He looked down and bit his lip hesitant to answer. I narrowed mu eyes at him "our captain asked you a question answer it before I throw you over board." I heard Pierce say gruffly Jack scratched the back of his neck "well there's a place I've been dreaming to see since I was young." Jack told us nervously I nodded my head imploring him to continue "I..... I wanna see the islands in the sky!" He suddenly shouted out leaving me stunned into silence as i stared at him a dark red blush spread across his face in embarrassment as he looked away. I looked at Pierce who was looking just as stunned as I was I let out a low whistle "well that's a pretty big dream you got there." I tell him seriously nodding my head in approval "it'll take some time to figure out how to get to and island in the sky but once we find the rest of the crew I think we can manage it." I tell him with a small smile Jack looked at me with wonder in his eyes the blush had disappeared from his face now as he looks at me and nods his head and adjusts our course a bit.

We had finally reached the island and I could already tell this was going to be a hassle. I could see marines patrolling everywhere there crisp blue and white uniforms shining like a beacon. I grimace as we walk past a group of them my hand rests lightly on the hilt of my Katana I feel that Jack and Pierce where on edge as well. I also now understood why the town was so marine oriented the town was a gold mine literally it had gold mines across the island and of course the marines were the first to claim it. They also made the villagers mine for the gold. Though the town looked happy enough. I had stopped at a fruit stand and I was examining the apples when I Heard a slight commotion. I turn to the left to see a little girl jumping up and down in front of a Marine man he was laughing as he held a small object just out of the girls reach " give it back my big brothers made that for me." She yelled the little girl was young probably no older than 8 her hair pulled up into two pigtail was an interesting shade of dark blue her eyes i noticed were also the same shade of blue "so what I told you before stop bringing weird crap like this to the market. You're probably just using it too steal anyway." The marine said to her with a nasty sneer on his face the little girl stared at his an angry look on her face with her hand closed into fist at her sides her face even started to turn red "you shitty marine!" The girl yelled out she then proceeded to kick him as hard as she could in the shin and stomp on his toes for good measure my eyes widened in surprise at her boldness Pierce had doubled over in a fit of laughter and jack looked just as shocked as me. The marine had dropped object in his hands in favor of holding his shin and foot while hopping around in pain the little picked up her possession and ran away from the marine as he tried to grab her but her running in such a hurry caused her to not pay attention and run directly into Jack's legs which knocked her on her butt she landed on the ground as we looked down at her she grimaced in pain but then looked up at Jack "are you okay?" Jack asked her she nodded her head and pulled herself up with Jack's help "get back here you damn brat!" The marine yelled as he chased her the little girl let out a terrified eep and hid herself under the fruit stand I moved to stand in front of her as the Marine ran up to us panting "where'd the stupid brat go?" He asked us Jack, Pierce, and I all looked at eachother and pointed in different directions he groaned before running off in the direction Pierce pointed to.
