Being a girl, I do foolish things. I react in foolish ways, and I can't seem to make up my mind.

Why do we girls wear makeup? To look prettier. Why do we dress nicely? To impress. Why do girls read books? To get more knowledge. Why do use as a whole cry? Simply to express.

To look prettier, to impress, to express, and knowledge. All of these things (and more) center around one thing, or person if you will: boys.

Boys will have you acting out of character. Period.

My boyfriend of 3 years, Jared and I are going skatingg, like we always do on my birthday. Yup, you heard right, I am officially 17, a senior and I couldn't help but to be sad a bit.

"I am both happy and sad at my life, and i am still trying to figure out how that could be." - The Perks Of Being A Wallflower

That quote is my life right now. My boyfriend, that of which whom I thought I would spend a longer, happier, time with, is getting dull. He is no longer the happy, vibrant guy that I knew. Our amazing relationship is kinda gone. I know everything about Jared, there are no surprises with him...could you say boring?

Getting out of my shower and drying off, I walk to my room and start pulling things out of my closet.

Since it's still kinda warm, I decided on a black crop top with a Pokèball.

Next is the jeans...hmmm, my white skinny jeans and my Chucks.

My hair is too long and I've been wanting to cut it, but Jared told me not to. My hair is down to my ass for anyones sake! My ass! Ugh.

I put my hair in a side ponytail and fishtail braid a red ribbon into it.

Putting on my big sliver hoop earrings, I finish off by spraying perfume onto my carmel skin.

Jared has rung the door bell and was downstairs talking to my mom. My mom was always a bit "if-y" with him but she got over it.

Grabbing my wallet and going downstairs, I greet my boyfriend.

"Hey, darling," giving a long hug. "Bye mum!"

"By Mrs. Pradea." Jared sung as I pulled him out the front door.

After sharing what I thought was a semi-passion kiss, he whispered to me, "Happy Birthday, you look good."

"Thanks," My voice remains normal. "Let's go, please."

"Are you okay?"

"Pleasant, why?

"Mhm."

Jared opened my door for me and I got in his car.

The ride to the rink was quiet and un-event. He is so boring. I love him, or atleast I think I do. I really don't know anymore. I need a break, I suppose.

Summer is just beginning and I want to have fun, without the boring part. Yah, know?

The rink was packed, as it always is on Saturday "blackout skate". The music was going and I was feeling better already.

Putting on my skates, I roll out onto the rink and start skating graceful.

Getting lost with the music and my thoughts, I didn't see the wobbly, obviously new to skating, man come upon the rink.
