I nervously messed with my hair, I promised Esther that I'd be on time. If not she wouldn't make a new "sleeping chart" for the tour.
"Now...Since drama queen and her accomplice have finally decided to show up we can proceed..." I tuned her out watching Mitch mess with the pen next to him.
His delicate finger twirling it, clicking it and then writing stuff down as the drowned out Esther explained things.
"Scott! Did you hear a word I said?" She snapped. "Uh, no sorry guess I'm just out of it today." I say sheepishly. She smirks at my excuse.
"Okay, I've decided to mix it up this time. Instead of our usual bunks. We're changing it up. On the bottom will be Ben and Mario, then the row above that will be Avi and Kirstie across from one another, the next row will be Mitch and Scott. Then the top one is Kevin and I."
I sighed in relief, she went trough with it. I shot her a grateful smile, but soon got distracted by Mitch's humming.
God, the angelic rhythm of his voice made some of my soul drift up to heaven. "Scooter, you okay? You've seem off today?" Mitch asked leaning over towards me. I could feel his hot breath next to my ear could drive me into a frenzy any second.
"I-I'm fine, just thinking." I smiled reassuringly at him. My breathing still shaking from the closeness of him.
"Alright, you guys are dismissed. Except for Mitchell." I was about to object before Esther cut me off. "I'll drive him home."
"Scott." Kirstie sang walking over to me. "Kit-Kat!" I sang back to her. "You wanna watch a movie?"
I nodded, "How about my place then Mitchy can join us." She smiled in agreement. "Hey Avi, Kevin, we're going to watch a movie. Wanna join us."
"Nah bro, me and Beyoncé have some arranging to do." Kevin says. "And I guess I'm apart of that." Avi added.
"See y'all tomorrow then," I replied walking out with Kirstie. "Meet you over there." I smirk and unlock the car. I, of course, blasted Beyoncé from the radio.
I had arrived back early and popped a bottle of champagne, because it's 1 o'clock and it's never to early to start drinking. "Watcha wanna watch?" I asked opening the door. But instead of just finding Kirstie outside, Avi was accompanying her.
"Oh," I raised my eyebrows at them. Which caused both to blush and turn away. "How to Train a Dragon, sounds good. Doesn't it Avi?"
The bass nodded, "Yeah sounds good. Champagne?" He asked gesturing to my glass. "I need a bit of a buzz, I had to sit in a meeting. It's good. Want any?" I asked Kirstie.
She looked expectantly at Avi. "I'll have a sip." She says walking in. "Bass cannon, go put the movie in. Kirstie get the popcorn. And are you sure you don't want any?" I ramble on.
"I'm fine Scott." Avi assures. "Just go ahead and get your alcohol on." He chuckles. "Don't make fun of Mitchy and I dancing to Queen B." I pout. "Oh, you want to talk about Mitch do you, Scott?" Kirstie chimes in. "No." I whisper hastily.
"Guys, the movie is starting!" Avi shouts. "Avi..." I whine. "We've already gotten enough noise complaints."
"Is it because of Mitch and you getting frisky?" He asks, smirking.
"No Avi, and I hope you realize I can kick you out right now." I threatened playfully.
I snuggle up next to Avi. "You're so warm. Do you know that?" His voice vibrates as he laughs. "No I didn't."
"How's everything going with you-know-hmhm?" I ask quietly, sitting back up. He looks up towards the kitchen. "Fine if you ask me, it'll be even better on tour."
We smirked knowingly. "But keep an eye out for Kevin will ya'?" He asked my lowering his voice. "Aye aye Captain!" I saluted him then started humming the theme song for SpongeBob.
