A Very Cute "Friendship"

A/n Hey ! I just wanted to tell you that I changed a little the first chapter so Lilian is the one that cursed Aphmau not Katlyn.I just wanted to keep her good too.

Jane's POV~

I can't believe that I've done that! I can't believe that I've been so desperate ! I guess he thinks that I am a freak now. Oh well I hope we will ,at least ,still be friends. I ruined it all. Laurence will be so mad at me...speaking of the devil ! He just entered my sweets shop.
"Hey Jane ! What's up?"
"Wait, you're not going to be mad at me?"
"For what?"
"You don't know what happened 4 days ago?"
"Of course I do ! But I still don't get it why would I be mad?"
"Because I ruined my only chance? Because I didn't do as you said?"
"Oh yeah. You actually did exactly as I told you, maybe you went a little too far but still you did exactly as I told you so why would I be mad? It's kinda my fault so don't worry. I came here to tell you something actually..." I was shocked ! He acted so casual.
"Go on."
"So please don't get upset but , *he took a deep breath* you know that I told you that if he first rejects you, try again? You can't ."
"W-why?"
" I can't tell you here ... It's something confidential and no one else can find out about this ! I am going to tell you just because I promised you when I bought that chocolate box."
"O-ok." I closed the shop and went with him down in the factory in my little office that I made.
"Ok so , remember that I told you when I left that day that you and I will need some luck?"
"Yes and I still don't get it. How was that supposed to help me ?"
"Well after I dropped of the box at Aphmau's house I went to the lady Irene statue where I found her with Garroth, they were just talking about the village."
"Still don't get it..."
"Let me finish! So after that , the second day I went to the statue first where, after a while, came Aphmau. She was surprised to see me there. I tried to get close to her when someone pushed me away. It was Garroth . We argued for a little. I left and went towards the old guard tower. I started to feel guilty, so I went back to apologise and..."
I think I just don't want to hear this...
"There they were kissing." He wasn't happy about that either I could tell. I kept silent . I was hurt but not as hurt as I thought I'll be ...
"I'm sorry Laurence ..."
"For?"
"Well, I know how much you loved Aphmau ."
"Yeah I did."
"Did?"
"I still do love her, don't get me wrong, but I moved on."
"I wish I could move on as well."
"You will. I'm sure that if Garroth wasn't in love with Aphmau he wouldn't have rejected you!" He put a little smile on his face trying to make me feel better
"Thanks Laurence!"
"No problem. Now that you know how to get whoever you want to, I'm sure you'll find someone soon *wink*!"
"Well I had a very good teacher !"
"Yeah you did !"
"And a very modest one as well." We then laughed for a while making all kind of jokes to make ourselves feel better after all that happened.
" I should really get back, Garroth will be mad at me. "
"And I should really open back the shop. See you later!"
"See ya!"
We then hugged and he
left. Wait , why did that hug feel so good?

Laurence's POV~

I was on my way to the gates because Brian is very tired and I promised him that I will take care of his duties while he is gone . I really hope Jane moves on. She is a pretty girl with that beautiful blonde hair that blends perfectly with it's blue highlights and those beautiful blue eyes. Whoa! I don't like her or anything I was just helping her because she helped me that's all! And now we are friends. Nothing more! You love Aphmau and she likes Garroth ! But what if I like her now? No Laurence you promised yourself that you will focus on your guard duties !
"Hey what are you doing out here?" I very familiar voice knocked me out of my thoughts
"J-Jane? I am responsible of the gates today because Brian wanted a day off . What are you doing here?"
" I like walking around the gates when the sun sets. I find it very relaxing and nice."
"Well I guess it is nice out here by this time "
"You are so serious when you are at work..."
"Not always. I was just thinking when you came here so I am still a little stuck in my thoughts."
"What we're you thinking abou?"
I started blushing a light pink
"Nothing important just guard stuff."
"Were you thinking of Aphmau?"
"No. Surprisingly I was not thinking about Aphmau."
"Why are you acting so strange?"
"Am I?"
"Kinda. You're usually not so mysterious, you are usually acting casual and making fun of everything. Did something happen to you?"
"No I think I'm just a little hungry"
" I have some food packed because I was planning on having a picnic in the woods, but I can have a picnic nearby and you can come eat too, if you want to anyway..."
"Sounds good!"
The food looked delicious ! Oh an it tasted even better than it looked ! She really is a great cook! I realised that the basket was purple and so were her clothes. Her favourite colour must be purple. I mean it suites her put it reminders me of someone else , that I used to love , maybe I still do I don't know anymore.
"Hello? Laurence you still there?"
"Uh? Oh sorry I was still thinking about all that happened in Phoenix Drop lately.."
"Did something wrong happen ?"
"We had a lot of trouble with O'khasis."
" I've lived there once , when I lived there, there was a big search for the lords eldest son , dough I don't remember his name..."
"His name is Garroth..."
"Wait , WHAT?! He is the eldest son of the Lord of O'khasis?!"
God she looked so embarrassed and cute , wait I mean-ugh never mind .
"Hey calm down it's not such a big deal. He is human like you and me ." She relaxed a little
"Still can't believe you've done that."
"Me neither. Yesterday I was that shy little girl that was trying to speak with guys and now I am finally confident with myself and for that I want to thank you! I am still surprised that I managed to talk to you,  you are a guy but I wasn't feeling so shy around you."
"And you shouldn't be! *chuckle*"
It was already late. I escorted her home because I was done with my duties . I then went to my room and stared thinking . A smile appeared on my face as her name crossed my mind , Jane , I think I'm in love again.
A/n hope you liked it ! I thought I should bring another ship in the book and because Laurence and Jane had their hearts broken I thought why not? (Jk this was the plan from the start) but still there won't be many chapters like this one because the action will be focused on the main characters that are Aphamu and Garroth. If you want more chapters like this one or more ships leave me suggestions !
