Spying

(Next day)
Aphmau's POV ~

The sun shined bright. I woke up pretty early today. I went downstairs to see that I am the only one that is awake. I started getting bored so I went out for a walk by the docks. The ocean breeze is really refreshing. I closed my eyes to feel the sun warming up my face. Two hands wrapped around my waist and I open my eyes in shock
"Did I scare you?" A familiar voice whispers in my ear.
"Very funny Garroth!"
"Haha. Indeed!" I turn around and hug him. "Why is that you are awake this early? Usually, only guards wake up this early."
"I just couldn't sleep I guess."
"Hmm...is something bothering you?"
"No. That's not the case. I just haven't been tired..."
"Okay I think... Then, let's walk around ! It can help you relax a little. I know you said there is nothing bothering you but... Anyway Dante is taking care of the plaza , Brian is guarding the gates and Laurence, well he just ran of in the morning. He said he has something to do and left. He is probably patrolling around so I can take you for a walk"
"Okay, let's go!"

Laurence's POV~

Her birthday is in two days and I don't have a gift! I actually have one but I didn't buy it. I know how strange that sounds but I asked Logan to find the best heart shaped necklace that he can find. And he said to meet him in the plaza very early in the morning. I was now heading there. Dante was probably still sleeping. He came very late home last night so he is probably sound asleep so no one should be there right now. I arrived in the plaza. Logan was standing at his merchant stand probably waiting for me. When he saw me he lifted his head and motioned his hand towards me to come. He searched into his jacket's pocket and brought you to light a silver necklace with a heart shaped pendant that has a small heart shaped purple gem in the middle, on witch are engraved the words "I love you" . I paid Logan for the best necklace I've ever seen and left. It also came with a cute purple wrapping so the only thing that I have to do now is to wait, witch is super hard cause I can't wait to give her this. I hope she'll like it.

Aphmau's POV~

~Time skip~

We were walking down the bridge near the gates when we I spotted a strange person with a white mask on it's face standing in a tree. The person was dressed in black and had dark long hair falling down his or her shoulders. The strange person was clearly spying on us. But when he or she realised that we were aware of him or her , the stranger jumped off the tree and went deep into the woods.Garroth pushed me back and grabbed his sword.
"Show yourself coward!" There was no answer. The person probably left. I grabbed my sword as well even though I was very scared. Garroth wanted to follow the masked person but I didn't let him.
He escorted me back to my house and asked me to stay inside until he makes sure that everything is alright. I sighed and nodded. I was not very happy about the idea but he was right, it can very dangerous for me to be out if there is someone that is clearly not our friend around.  So today is going to be a very boring day. Hurray!

Zane's POV~

"So what is there so important that you had to wake me up so early?"
"Sir, like we feared , they are a couple." A evil smirk formed on my face.
"That is actually brilliant ! In this case it'll be easier for me to make them both suffer ! These are grate news! What else?"
"Well, everything is the same in the village except another girl came in Pheonix Drop... She is another witch... I think she is one of your older classmates. Does Sophie ring any bells?" My heart stopped. Sophie? My best friend from school Sophie?
