Harmony led Ryan to an empty seat, a million thoughts running through his head. The boy sitting across from him gave him a small glare. Not knowing what he did Ryan just stared back blankely. Finally he looked away and studied everyone else. He decided to try and guess their, um, powers? gifts? whatever.

In the two chairs closest to the door sat the girl with the red hair. It was easy to guess her power, fire. Her features were hard and mean, all running to a sharp point. The boy sitting across from her was the one with the blue skin. He looked hispanic and maybe 15 years old. Looking more closely he saw that his skin looked kind of like water. Ryan took his best guess as his power being water. The twins sat next to the boy. He didn't really know what to guess for them but he noticed that their plates and silverware and, well, everything around them was gold or silver. They talked mostly only to each other kind of ignoring everyone else. Ryan could tell they were inseperable.

The girl with the bees wasn't very easy. Everytime she opened her mouth to eat something she would wait till a bee or two flew out before eating anything. She wasn't the prettiest girl there but her looks were unique. Her skin and eyes were dark. Her black hair ran straight down her back. It had a few braids scattered here and there in it. Her eyes were watchful and took in everything as if it were brand new. He noticed hints of gold in her eyes and hair. Taking a quick and random guess that she had bees living inside her he hurried and moved on before she noticed him staring at her.

The boy sitting by the twins seemed like he was on hyperspeed. He picked stuff up, set it down, and even talked like he was stuck on fastforeward. His hair was bright orange and stuck straight up as if he had stood out in a storm and got electrecuted. His eyes were bright blue and had the same spark in them as Harmony's did. Guessing his power was superspeed Ryan moved on to the next person. Unfortunately the next boy was the one who was glaring at him. His hair was bleach blonde and his eyes were dark blue. His face was covered with brown freckles and he was still glaring at Ryan. Not able to even begin guessing what power he had Ryan skipped over him.

The girl sitting across from him had bright blonde hair and golden, sun tanned, skin. Everything and everyone around her just seemed to brighten up and become ten times more cheerful. Her chin was long and came to a point. Her eyes looked happy and content with everything they saw. If happiness was a person, Ryan guessed it would look like her. He quickly moved on with a guess of her power being happiness.

The next girl had plain features. Her eyes were green and her hair was a deep black. Her small lips were turned down and seemed as if they never turned up in a slight smile. Her skin was tan but not golden like the blonde girl. Her palms were wrapped in a thick white clothe with stains that looked mysteriously like dried blood. Her chin was strong and turned up, showing a lot of self confidence. Her hair had dark green leaves sticking out of it in random places and a vine was wrapped around her arm. She was definantly pretty but her looks paled to the other girl's picture perfect features. She looks more...natural. He thought to himself. Ryan finally noticed that his grey eyes had locked with her piercing green ones. Quickly looking away without a second thought on her powers Ryan moved on.

The next girl was extremely tiny. Everything about her seemed petite and extremely breakable. Her movements were smooth and seemed perfect. Her face was pointed and really pretty. Her hair was a deep blonde and cut short. Her eyes were black and mesmerizing. Taking a quick guess of her power being, just a random guess, perfection he turned to the boy sitting on the other side of him. His hands were covered with grease and he was shoveling food in his mouth. Bolts and screwdrivers littered the space around him. His black hair was closs cropped and his face was covered with soot and grease. He had on a large green army coat, it's pockets bulging. Ryan stared at him for a second thinking maybe his power was with building things before moving on to the next girl.

She had a mop of dark red hair that stuck up uncontrollably. Paint splatters covered her hands and her clothes. Black charcoal covered the tips of her fingers and her palms. Her shirt was, or used to be, white and was completely covered in doodles and splashes of bright color. Everything around her seemed dim and bland compared to how colorful she was. Guessing her power had something to do with art Ryan glanced at the last person, Harmony.

She was eating a thick pancake drowned in syrup. She laughed at a joke the blue skinned boy had just told that Ryan didn't hear. Looking around he noticed everyone was laughing except for him and the girl with the black hair. Looking back at Harmony he remembered when she had squeezed his hand in the doorway. He had felt sparks of electricity but had put it off as just a crush. Thinking about it he thought that it could've been real electricity he had felt.

The boy next to him laughed and Ryan turned to him. All the boy did was stare at him a small smirk. Then he tapped his head got up and walked away. Ryan stared after him then noticed that everyone was setting aside empty plates and walking away. The girl he had noticed as taller than everyone else was floating a foot off the ground. He sat there not knowing what to do when a rough and strong hand grabbed his shoulder.

He nervously looked up and his dark cloudy grey eyes met strong willful green ones.
