XO POV

"This dress? Or what about these pants? Or-'

"Stacey!" I interrupted impatiently.

She just had a blank look, "What?" She asked distractedly, holding up a pair of dark jeans.

"Just relax, you're gonna make yourself crazy by running back and forth. Just wear something that you feel good in." I advised with a encouraging smile.

She laughed lightly at herself and ran her fingers through her perfect, blonde hair, "You're right, ' She said, plopping down on the bed next to me. 'You always can help me solve anything."

I leaned into her affectionately, "Hey that's what best friends are for." I smiled.

She clapped her hands on her thighs, "So it's settled that I'm wearing this dress, now let's find something for you to wear!" She said excitedly, taking my hand and dragging it to her closet. "I have so many things you can wear," She said as she slid hangers to and fro happily.

"Stace I have a ton of clothes in my closet." I insisted.

Stacey just turned to me, "Okay, pick some options and we'll decide if they're worthy of girls night." She said, looking back to her closet.

I trudged over to my bedroom in our shared two bedroom apartment. My closet was nowhere near as filled as Stacey but I did have some nice clothes that I saved for special occasions. Tonight Stacey, Ursula, Fiona, and I were all going out to celebrate a double event; Stacey's 26th birthday and Fiona getting a huge promotion at work." I rifled through my closet, trying to find something.

I finally decided on a teal halter top with a small, black, leather jacket, dark jeans, and combat boots. To top the outfit off I made my hair wavy and slightly messy, earning approval from resident fashionista Stacey. At 6 o'clock our doorbell rang and I opened it to find both Fiona and Ursula at the door. I stepped aside to welcome them in. "That jacket is so cute!" Ursula commented as she admired it.

"Thanks, you can borrow it sometime if you want." I offered.

"Where's Stacey?" Fiona asked as she plopped down on the couch.

"Just finishing up her makeup." I replied.

"I'm coming!" Stacey called from her room, as if able to know we were just wondering where she was. A second later she came strutting out into the living room. "So how do I look?" Stacey asked with a smile, giving us all a twirl. Her dress was short and light blue, with a small floral design, her blonde, medium length hair pin straight.

 "Amazing as usual" Fiona said.

"Thank you. I can't believe I'm 26, I'm starting to feel old." She pouted, but soon bounced back.

"Enough about me. Fiona congrats on your new job,' she said, pulling Fiona into a side hug, 'Now let's get this girl's night started!" She said enthusiastically, earning a chorus of cheers from the rest of us.

We went and called for a taxi since we all wanted to let loose and not worry about designating a driver. Taxis were more frequent during high tourist seasons in the Malibu area, so getting a car wasn't too hard. Our first stop of the night was the Indigo Nightclub, this new, trendy bar that had a huge dance floor and a great atmosphere.

-----------BREAK-------------

After and hour and a half in the night club we decided we were tired and wanted to just go somewhere to sit and talk. So we got in another taxi and headed off to this local bar that Ursula recommended. McQua's Bar was a small but cozy one. A long wooden bar was in the middle, and small booths and tables were scattered around. A few pool tables, darts, and a television were also in the bar for entertainment. "This place is nice." Fiona commented as we walked in. The four of us took a seat at the bar and waited for the bartender to come over.

After ten minutes of waiting, I was starting to get impatient. "Excuse me! Excuse me!" I called, leaning over my seat.

Finally a bartender came sauntering over, "Sorry about that, there was a huge order by the other side of the bar." He explained. "So what can I get you ladies?" The guy asked. We all ordered and walked off to make the drinks. After waiting a few minutes the bartender came back with three drinks in his hand, all except mine. He then stalked off, without mentioning anything.

Another bartender then came to our side with a drink in his hand, and a searching look on his face. "Old Fashioned." He called, looking around.

I raised my arm and called out, "Over here!" He then saw me and walked over.

"Wow I was expecting someone much different," The bartender stated with a smile.

I arched my eyebrow at him as he handed over the drink. "Who exactly were you expecting?" I asked curiously.

He chuckled awkwardly, "I guess I was expecting an old balding man, with wrinkles maybe?" He stated.

"Thank you," I replied sarcastically with a hint of amusement.

The bartender blushed, "No, no, no, I didn't mean to offend you. I just am surprised, I've never met a girl like you to order an Old Fashioned. A girl with my same taste, I like it. " He said shyly.

I returned a smile, "Well thank you." I replied.

He extended his hand to me, "I'm Ronny." He introduced with a smiled.

I reached my hand back, "Xo." I replied with a smile.

Suddenly remembering he was working, he looked at me and the rest of the girls, "Well let me know if you need anything." Ronny said, turning to attend to another customer.

Once he was out of earshot, Fiona, Ursula, and Stacey all squealed. "He is so into you!" Stacey exclaimed.

Fiona added, "Get it girl!"

They teased and I just blushed, "Guys come on." I replied.

"Xo he is really cute." Ursula added seriously. He was very handsome and tall, with brown eyes. And he had short but styled brunette hair and what really drew Xo in was his smile. His smile was wide and curled at the ends into a smirk-like smile.

"Okay, okay he is super cute. But what if he's just flirty or just trying to get good tips?" I questioned them.

The girls just shrugged and Stacey added, "Then that's all it is. Look Xo you don't have to marry this guy. Just flirt back and if something happens, then nice work." She winked flirtatiously. I laughed and took a sip of my drink.

Fiona smiled, "In fact I think I'm gonna give you a boost." She then leaned over, "Hey Ronny, could I ask for your assistance!"

------BREAK-----

After some drinks I was starting to feel the buzz, but the girls and I wanted to stay around longer. Then Ronny got off break and joined us, until suddenly we all went home, me to a different apartment.
