When I told Taylor about the party she was surprisingly chill. When I texted my other best friend, Jase he flipped and called me screaming excitedly.
This should be fun. That was sarcasm.

"Yeah girl, imma get me some ass tonight" Jase sang and he entered my room. "Ben Cinders is supposed to be there" he said with a far away look in his eye. Did I mention Jase was gay? Well he is and he has no problem flirting with any hot guy he sees. I on the other hand can't even look at a guy.

"Mmhmmm lucky you" Taylor laughed.
I sighed. "Well at least you guys have something to wear, all I have is tshirts and jeans." It was true I never dressed up for anyone, mostly because I couldn't be bothered.
"Well then we go SHOPPING!" Jase yelled happily. So we did.

We strode into the mall, first stopping at forever 21.
We glanced at mostly everything for a while until Taylor spotted something.
"Try this one on" She called out, chucking the dress at me. I caught it with surprising ease and walked into the changing room.
I didn't even look at the dress before sliding it on. After I'd zipped it up I looked at nearly in the mirror.
It was amazing.
Simple but pretty. It was an inky black with a heart shaped neckline. It hugged my curves, then flowed out at my hips. The dress ended mid thigh and my dirty blonde hair ended right at the top of the neckline. I was in love.

I could hear Taylor whispering something.
"Oh my god, he's here, oh my god!" Who was here? I shrugged it off and started to open the door.
"Here I come guys, don't laugh okay?"
I got a duo of "okays" back.
I opened the door fully and raised my eyebrows.
They just sat there staring.
"Well?" I asked doing a twirl.
"I don't think I've ever seen you in a dress before, let alone one that looks this stunning" Jase replied.
My cheeks reddened and I was about to thank him when a lady smartly dressed in a suit came up to me.

"Hi I'm Abigail, but you can call me Abbie." She said curtly.
"Alright, I'm Alice and you can call me Alice" I responded uncertainly.
"Lovely, anyway I was wondering if you were single?" I could hear Jase snickering.
"Uh yes I am, um Abbie" I had no idea what was happening. Was this lady asking me out? Because with all do respect I didn't roll that way.
"Well I have a proposition for you" I saw her eyes slide across the store. I followed her gaze to a very good looking and some what familiar guy standing by the cashier, looking a bit uncomfortable.
"That is Mr Mendes. You've possibly heard of him?" And with that my life changed.
