Chapter 2:
"Hello, I'm Michelle." I smiled and looked down.
"Nice to meet you, Michelle." He said looking at me.
"You too."
"I saw you surfing, and I have to say, you're pretty good." He said smiling.
"Thanks." I felt my cheeks blush.
Then we were silent for a couple of seconds.
"I like your accent." I said shyly.
He was looking at other people surfing and he turned to see me.
"Thank you." He smiled, looking down.
He looked so cute when he did that.
"I'm guessing you're Australian?" I asked.
"Yes, I am." he said smiling. "You're good at guessing." He smirked.
"I get that a lot." I giggled
"Hey, would you like to keep surfing?" He asked me.
"Of course." I smiled.
"Alright, let's ride some waves!"
We've been surfing for like 4 hours or so. We laughed and talked about everything. Cody's a great guy.
"I have to go. My friend invited me to his birthday." He said.
"It's alright. I was actually thinking about leaving too."
"Okay, let's get out of the water." He said looking at me.
We headed back to the shore, and went to the parking lot. But before we went to our respective cars, we stood there talking for a couple of minutes.
"I'd liek to see you again sometime." He said smiling at me.
"Me too. If you want we can exchange numbers." I said shyly.
"Alright." He said.
We exchanged numbers and we stood there for a couple of seconds. Then Cody leaned in and kissed me on the cheek. I felt my cheeks flush pink and I think he noticed because I heard him chuckle.
"Goodbye, Michelle." He said in a deep raspy voice.
"G-Goodbye, Cody." I stuttered.
He smiled at me and went to his car, then I went to mine. Then I got back home and made my way to the kitchen to get something to eat. I felt my phone vibrate and when I took it to see who it was, it was Melena. We talked about everything. Then she asked me if how was my day and I said that it was great. And I told her everything about Cody, but then she kept asking me questions about him and I just didn't know how to respond. Then she said that she had to help her mom with something and I said goodbye and hung up the call.
I spent a couple of hours watching TV bcause I had nothing to do. I looked at the clock, it's 7:25, so I decided to take a shower. I put my pjs on and hope into bed. I was about to fall asleep when I felt my phone vibrate. "Shit" I said to myself. I took my phone and it was a message from Cody. It said "Have a goodnight! <3", he's so sweet, that just made my night. I sent him a message saying "Thanks, you too c:". Then I put my phone on the bedside table & fell asleep.
