Chapter 2

"Calum do we really have to do all this work?" asked Mikey.
"Yeah dude, why not just show up at her door. I bet she'd love it just the same" Luke tried to point out.
"You guys don't get it. You don't preform half ass for someone you really like." I explained.
"Cal man don't let these insensitive losers stop you from blowing Caitlyns socks off." Ashton scoffed while giving Mike and Luke the evil eye.
"Oh i wont. Ash tell me if this sounds any good. I'm thinking ill buy a big bouquet of roses and a card saying how i really feel. Ill show up leave em on her door step, ring the door bell, and then hide. And while she sits there wondering who it came from ill pop out." i rambled about my plan with a huge grin on my face.
"Yeah man! If i were her id fall in love." Ashton assured me. Our bus pulled into my driveway and we were officially off tour. I immediately got into my moms car and went to get the card and flowers.
I had been to Caitlyns house plenty of times before so i knew how to get there. I parked down the block so she wouldn't see my moms car. Being careful not to be seen i placed the card and flowers by the door, rung the bell and hid. I waited and watched and eventually a woman i didn't know opened the door. "Wait, who are you?" I asked while stepping out from hiding.
"My names Nancy, but i believe the real question is who are you?" she replied with a confused look on her face.
"Um I'm Calum.. Where's Caitlyn?"
"I wish i knew cause whoever she is she's a lucky girl." Nancy said glancing down at the bouquet of roses.
"Yeah. I'm just confused she lived here a year ago. Did they move?" i asked baffled.
"Oh honey i don't know the previous owners left the house to the city and were moved out before we bought the house."
"Okay. Well thank you." i mumbled while picking up the roses and the card. I walked back to my moms car feeling confused, angry, sad, and just overall lost.
