Chapter 3: Church

7:00 am on a Sunday morning. I got up and pulled my phone off its charger. I had one new text message from John Luke <3

~TEXT CONVERSATION~

John: Good morning babe. Are you getting ready 4 church?

Me: HEY! And yes I am getting ready FOR church. Yall can come over and we can go to church together if yall want.

John: Good, I will be over in 5.

Me: K love u babe.

John : Love u 2

~End text conversation~

I walked to my closet and found a camo printed dress, Black Wedges, I walked to me jewelry box and got out a bracelet with one big flower on it, a all black ring, a  "J" and an  " L" necklace, a "J" bracelet, diamond earrings and " C" earrings a ring with a heart and in the heart was an "L", a black bow and some black and white bracelets. I got into the shower and go out. I dried my hair and then heard a knock on the door. I yelled " John Luke?" " Yup" "" come in" he heard the door open and then shut. I had on my dress and then curled my hair, pulled my bangs back  and used the black bow to hold them. I slide on the jewelry and did my make up. I painted my nails white. I put lip gloss on my lips and slide on my wedges. I grabbed my black and white purse and walked down stairs and waited for John Luke. I was eating my cereal when 2 arms wrapped around my waste. I turned my head to see John Luke standing there I kissed his nose and unwrapped myself from him. I put my stuff away and John Luke and I walked hand in hand to his truck where we drove to church. When we got there I saw Sadie. She was wearing a blue strapless dress with 2 necklaces with a "R and a S" she had a diamond ring on, A fancy bracelet with a black band and a diamond " S" she had earrings to match. she also had a blue purse and blue wedges, a bunch of blue bracelets and a rhinestone phone case. ~After church~

" Hey Jamie," I turned around only to face Sadie. " Yeah?" " Are you coming to our banquet tonight?" " No I didn't know you were having one." " John Luke didn't tell you?" " Nope." "hmm I wonder who he is taking then, he said he was taking someone." " I'm going to talk to him later." she nodded and I left the church madder than ever. I didn't even wait for John Luke I just sat in the truck. About 10 minutes later John Luke came out to the truck. I looked out the window to avoid eye contact. " I heard you had a banquet tonight." " Oh yeah. Its nothing really." I sighed. the drive back to my house was quiet. When we got back to my house I got out of the truck and stormed my way up to the door and unlocked it only to step in and slam it shut. I walked up stairs and changed into something more comfortable.  I got back down stairs and an angry John Luke sitting at my counter. " Whats got you all up set?" I asked. " The fact you have been ignoring me until now." " Maybe that wouldn't have happened if someone wouldn't have kept secrets and take some random chick to a family banquet instead of your girlfriend." I was boiling with anger. " THATS MY FAULT HOW?" " IT WAS YOUR DESION TO MAKE. I HAD TO FIND OUT FROM YOUR SISTER THAT YOU GUYS WERE HAVING A BANQUET. YOU BASICLY MADE ME FEEL LIKE YOU NEVER LIKED ME OR THOUGHT OF ME AS A PART OF THE FAMILY." I was screaming. " IF YOU DIDNT LIKE ME, THEN WHY WOULD YOU MAKE ME FALL FOR YOU. I HATE YOU JOHN LUKE, WE ARE OVER." I was crying. I hurried to my bedroom and sat on the floor and cried. " Jamie Lynn?" " What " I snapped. " Can we talk?" " sure" I opened my door and let him in. He looked like he was crying to. He took a deep breath and began his LONG explanation.
