A Date to Remember

A few weeks later Bella told me that she found someone for me and that she had set up a double date sort of thing. Where her and Alex Foure(a cute,nice, funny, and smart guy) and me and some other guy would all go together to the fair to see a concert and hang out there.

I pleaded and asked who she randomly picked to come along with me and she stubbornly kept telly me no, that I would have to find out when I went. I didn't want to go though, I mean I would love to go to the fair but I don't really like blind date type of things. I either need to know who the guy is so I'm not stuck with some self centered jerk, who think they are the best of the best. After alot of begging and pleading she still said no and that I had to go.

Since I had to go to this so called date I got all the detail on when what day and time we were going to the fair, how we were getting there, and when the concert started. Once she told me this and left, I started to plan everything out, from weather, to clothes, to money, to practically everything I would need to be prepared for this date.

The next day crept upon us, the day of the date. I got dressed in my clothes which was a tank top, some spandex, and over that a pair of cute overalls, paired with some mint green high tops. After checking out my outfit in the mirror, I went in my bathroom and put my hair up in a messy bun. I tied off everything with a little gold necklace that was a cross.

After looking my self over a couple of times, feeling very nervous and self conscience I was ready. I grabbed my phone and money and put then into my pockets and headed out the door to walk to Starbucks where we were all going to meet. I couldn't drive yet so I walked since I lived real close by it once I got there I went in and spotted Bella, her brother (who was driving us) and Alex. They all had drinks so I got one too amd went and sat down with them.

"Hey, so you guys look ready to got to the fair" I said, mentally slapping myself for my awkwardness.

They all said ya and we sat there for a minute in silence until I broke it.

"So", I said, " were is the other person that's coming?",I asked.

As soon as I said that the door opened and I looked up to see who it was, it was no other than, Julien Reyes. My jaw dropped in shock. I plastered a smile on my face and greeted him kindly. We all got up and left after he ordered something real quick while we were walking out the door the other two were a little ways in front of us.

"You look shocked when I came through the door.", He said softly.

"Ya, so." I said already being annoyed with him.

If you can't tell, I HATE him, I don't know what she was thinking when she invited him. I always look at him in the hallway just to make sure I don't run into him because I like to be invisible and if he noticed me I would get way more attention than I need. Running into him would give me the same attention as wearing a clown costume to school.

Already I truly knew that this was going to be a heck of a night, that I would always remember but not want to remember.

We all got in the car, Julien, Alex, and I all sat in the back, me sadly in the middle, wrong choice I thought, very wrong choice.

Once we finally got to the fair we took our spots at the concert seating area. After a few minutes the concert started.

Once the concert finished we all decided to get a snack. We all got a slushie and decide to go ride some rides.

At one ride Julien said, "if you get scared you can hold my hand."

"In your dreams", I said.

What happened next caught me off guard.

"You listen here you freak, I only agreed to this because I've been wanting to got to that concert. I'm not here for you, and obviously your not here for me either. But they don't know that so just keep your mouth shut, and keep on plastering that fake smile."

I quickly shut up, nodded, and put a smile on my face. The last thing I need was to be bullied. The last ride we rode was the ferris wheel and Bella's brother drove us all home.
