| Your POV |

You're halfway home when you decide to turn back. You couldn't leave Hiro to deal with more anger and pain just because of you! You shove your hands into the pocket of your hoodie and start the journey back.

Maybe he'll forgive you, maybe he won't. Honestly, all you want to do is to make him feel less alone. You stop at a nearby drugstore and head to the candy aisle. You pick up the jumbo bag of gummy bears and buy a couple of Hiro's favorite sodas. You pay for them and head back out. You put the plastic bag in your backpack.

The streets of San Fransokyo are very crowded today. You keep your eyes on you feet, making sure that you don't trip over anyone. But it's not your fault when you're knocked to the ground by a running kid. You land on your back, grateful that your backpack was there to protect your head from the hard sidewalk. You blink and focus on the familiar brown eyes that are just inches from yours.

"H-Hiro?" you ask.

"Sorry!" he exclaims breathlessly. His cheeks heat up a bright red as he lifts himself off of you. He holds his hand out to help. You hesitantly grab onto it and let him yank you off of the ground. You brush your shirt off.

"What are you doing?" you ask him.

He places a hand on your shoulder and stands up straight to look around. "I'm looking for Baymax."

"For what?"

"Baymax," he says impatiently. His eyes widen suddenly. "There he is!" He hits your shoulder and waves you forward. "Come on!"

You follow your best friend through the crowd. He runs down a few empty alleyways until he comes to a stop at the doors of a worn warehouse. You blink in confusion at the huge white figure standing in front of you. "What," you gasp, "is that?"

"Baymax," Hiro replies. "Tadashi built him. He inflated this morning and has been bothering me ever since." Hiro glares at the robot and yanks something out of his hands.

"I have found where your tiny robot was trying to go," Baymax announces.

"It talks?" You ask in disbelief.

Hiro ignores you. "It's not trying to go anywhere, it's just broken . . ." As he observes the plastic dish with the microbot, you examine Baymax.

You poke his stomach and tilt your head back all the way to see his face. You laugh and circle him. "Tadashi sure didn't make you small," you comment. "You look like a marshmallow. No offense."

"I am a robot. I cannot be offended."

Hiro looks back you the two of you and sighs. "Stop messing around, guys. We're going in."

"Whoa, why?"

"Because this microbot is going insane. All of my microbots were destroyed in the fire. I need to get in there. If you don't want to come, then stay out here."

Your lips pull into a smile. "You should know me better than that, Hamada. Of course I'm coming."

You soon find yourself stand on Baymax's squishy head and lifting Hiro up to a window. "Higher, ___!" he says breathlessly.

"Gosh, Hiro. You really need to lay off the gummy bears," you mutter before using all of your strength to shove him.

"Please exercise caution," Baymax warns, "a fall from this height could lead to bodily harm."

Finally, Hiro is able to pull himself up and into the building. You reach up. "Hiro, you've got to help me. I can't reach it."

Hiro sighs and leans down. He grabs your hand tightly and tugs. You find your feet lifted off of Baymax. Hiro lets go of your hand and you hit your forehead against the dusty floor.

"Ow," you mutter.

"On a scale of one to ten, how would you rate your pain?" Baymax asks.

"Can you guys be quiet?" Hiro asks harshly.

You look over at Baymax and help him wedge himself into the window. "I'm okay, buddy." You tug on his arm but he refuses to budge. "Hiro. Hiro!"

"What?" Hiro asks.

"He's stuck," you state.

"Then we'll leave him." He shrugs and turns away.

"Excuse me while I let out some air."

"Guys! Will you please just- ugh! Come on!" Hiro grabs your hand and pulls you with him.

"So where are we going?" you ask.

"I'm not sure," he admits, "but I know that my microbots are in here somewhere."

Your eyes fall on a machine that is covered. You squeeze Hiro's hand. "Are they there?" Hiro takes a step forward. "Wait! What if it's dangerous?"

He rolls his eyes and grabs a broom that rests against a wall. He holds it in front of the two of you. You're partly behind Hiro, one hand on his shoulder. He peers at the machine.

"What is it?" you ask.

Hiro walks around the machine and stops in front of a belt that is gliding the microbots into a bin. Hiro dives his hand in and scoops up a handful. "My microbots. Someone is making more."

You gasp and look further down the room. Containers of them fill each space. Hiro turns around and faces a wall where notes and diagrams are taped. "Why-"

"Hiro?" Baymax says rather loudly. You jump and your hand automatically goes to your heart.

"Gah!" Hiro shouts. "You gave me a heart attack!"

"My hands are equipped with defibrillators," he says, rubbing his rubber hands together. "Clear-"

"Stop, stop, stop! It's just an expression!" Suddenly, a loud buzzing fills your ear. Hiro reaches into his pocket and pulls out the tray. The microbot is squirming again. The noise gets louder. You look behind you and see the microbots rising from their places in the bins.

"H-Hiro!" you exclaim. Hiro turns around and gasps.

"We've got to go!" He grabs your hand and jerks your forward. You break into a sprint.

"Wait, Baymax-" you turn and realize that he is far behind.

Hiro groans. "Come on!"

"I am not fast," Baymax states.

You let out a deep breath. Hiro drops your hand and runs to the robot. "Yeah, no kidding!" He grabs his arm and pulls him to you. "Go, go, go!" He stops in front of a door. "Um- kick it down!" Baymax slowly and gently taps the surface with his foot. "Punch it!" Nothing happens. "Gah!"

You turn and see a wave of microbots heading right towards you. "Hiro!"

"Come on, go, go, go!" He pulls both you and Baymax through the warehouse. The microbots catch up quickly. "Go, go!" He lifts a floor vent up and gestures for you to jump in. You obey and immediately start crawling forward. Hiro climbs in, and then Baymax. "Faster, ___!" You stop when you see the microbots coming from each crack of the vent. Hiro grabs your shoulder and jerks his head towards an exit. "Okay, come on, come on!" The microbots shove the three of you with so much force that you find yourself shooting into the air.

"Whoa!" you huff, landing hard on the rickety platform. Hiro lifts up Baymax's arm. You scramble to your feet and reach down to help him up. He takes your hand and you tug. He glances behind you and gasps. "What?"

You turn and see a man dressed in black clothing. He is wearing a white and red mask. He lifts his arms and the microbots raise up. Hiro grabs your arm and runs to the window. He pushes Baymax through. Both of you shove him further into the glass panel. "Can't he shrink?" you ask.

"Shrink down, Baymax!" You and Hiro both shove with all of your strength and find yourself hanging out of the window, your hands grasping his leg. "Baymax!"

"Hiro?" Baymax asks. Suddenly, he falls. You scream before Baymax's arm wraps around you and pulls you against his stomach. He lands on the pavement and you bounce off, landing on your back next to Hiro.

"Wow," you breathe, your heartbeat thudding in your chest.

"We need to get out of here," Hiro says. "Come on, come on!" You stand up and run off with him.
