| Hiro's POV |
Hiro waves you and Baymax to go ahead and turn into a dark alley. He slips ahead of you and runs as quietly as he can to the warehouse. He takes a deep breath when he reaches the entrance. When the door opens, Hiro shouts, "Get him, Baymax!"
Hiro's heart drops when he takes in the empty room. You groan. "Great."
"He's not here," Hiro says. "Of course!" He pulls the microbot out of the pocket of his hoodie. The microbot is throwing itself against the plastic tray. "This way," Hiro says, jerking his head towards the dock.
Hiro has his eyes on the microbot. Using it as his guide, he doesn't even pay attention to where he is going. However, a few minutes after walking, he is brought back to reality by your voice.
"Hiro, stop!"
He looks down just in time to see his feet leave the dock. Instead of crashing into the dark water, Hiro is pulled back onto the wood. He turns slightly and sees your hands grasping his hoodie and Baymax's fist around his hood.
"Please wait one hour after eating before swimming," Baymax orders.
"How about we don't go swimming in the dark water at all?" you suggest, letting out a long breath.
Hiro smiles. "Sorry." The microbot in his hands suddenly goes crazy. The disc suddenly flies out of his hands and dives into the foggy bay. "Hey!" He reaches for it, even though he knows that it's gone forever. He frowns.
"Hiro, what is that?" you whisper. He squints until he sees it. It's almost impossible to see against the black sky, but a wave of microbots is raising up from the water. Hiro stumbles back.
"Behind the crate!" he whispers, nudging you forward. The three of you press yourselves up against the crate and peek over the side. The man is on top of the microbots as they raise out of the water. He glides across the pavement.
"What do we do?" you ask Hiro.
Hiro thinks for a moment, "Um, I guess we can-"
Suddenly, two headlights swerve into view. Hiro shields his eyes from the light. The car stops. When his four friends climb out of the car, he remembers that Baymax contacted them.
"Hiro?" they say.
"No, no! You have to get out of here!" Hiro whispers loudly.
"What are you two doing out here?" Wasabi asks. "Is that Baymax?"
"W-We were going for a walk," Hiro lies, "yeah, it helps my pubescent mood swings."
"Yeah," you agree. Then you turn your head and look at him, "Wait, what?"
"Why is Baymax wearing carbon fiber underpants?" Go Go injects.
"I also know karate," Baymax says.
"Guys, you have to go," Hiro insists.
"Don't push us away, Hiro," Honey Lemon begs. "We're here for you. That's why Baymax contacted us."
"But-"
"People who suffer a loss require support from friends and loved ones. Who would like to go first?"
Fred's hand shoots up into the air. "Me! I'll go. Okay. My name is Fred, and it has been thirty days since I last- holy mother of Megazon!" He jumps back. You turn around and look up. The yokai is standing over your group. "Am I the only one seeing this?"
Honey Lemon automatically snaps a picture of the villain. The villain responds with the raise of his hand. The crate rises and then crashes over you. You grab Hiro and yank him to the pavement. Hiro tries to pull away, but you're almost laying on top of him. Wasabi's scream echos in his ear. He waits for the crate to crush you, but it doesn't. Hiro lets out a sigh of relief.
