Ray didn't like having to go after Green Lantern. After what he'd heard, they wouldn't appreciate being chased by two men in technological suits. He hoped they ask first, shoot later.
"Let's go. We have many miles to cover." Ray said.
"Not so fast." Alt Ray warned. "We need to get your suit up to date with mine."
"My suit can fly. We have limited time."
As they set off, Ray wondered about all of this. He'd never heard of Slade Wilson. And he was sure that Felicity never knew the Green Arrow. Or maybe she did. He wasn't sure what was real and what wasn't anymore. After an hour, the two Rays reached Coast City.
"If we have time maybe we could get some pizza." Ray suggested. "It's the best in the west."
"No pizza! Look, I see them." Alt Ray pointed up to five green streaks flying through the air. "Come on." As they followed, the lanterns were definitely weren't pleased with being followed. They turned around, and one constructed a hand that would've destroyed Ray's suit if he didn't have a force field.
"Woah Stewart. Take it easy." One of the lanterns flew towards them, clearly the leader of the group. "What do you want? Why are you following us?"
"Olie sent us." Alt Ray said. "He needs the help of you and yo-" Before Alt Ray could finish, he was trapped in a large green box constructed by the other four lanterns.
"Olie is dead!" The leader cried. "He died long ago!" Suddenly, the box slammed towards the ground hundreds of feet below them.
"No!" Ray screamed, shooting at the lanterns with full power. The box opened, and Alt Ray flew out just in time. Then, the fighting started. One lantern made a machine gun with his ring, and started shooting. Another made a large hammer. One made a fist. And the leader threw a jet turbine. There were constructs everywhere, beams shooting, force fields going up, and all lighting the sky up, providing entertainment for the citizens below. Below however, there was a sudden streak of red that raced through the gathering crowd. And after a few minutes, Ray's mask lit up with video of the Flash.
"Barry?" The leader asked. "Lanterns stop!"
"Yes Hal." Flash responded. "These guys are with me."
"What's going on here? They both are dressed like Atom and say Olie is alive."
"Yes and no. Portals have been opening up all over the country. They lead to other dimensions. I'm from one of those dimensions. I'll explain more later, but Hal, the world is facing another crisis. And we're going to need you."
"If you're from a different dimension," Hal started. "Then how do you know my name?"
"I'm friends with Olie. Olie is friends with alternate you. Now, meet us at Palmer Tech is Star City. The Ray's will show you the way." After another hour, the Rays and the lanterns reached Palmer Tech. There they met Flashes, Black Canary's, the two Felicity's, and finally, Green Arrow himself. After Oliver explained, Hal started a stream of questions.
"How? Why? What?"
Oliver laughed. "Later. Right now we have to figure out how Slade is getting through other dimensions."
An idea clicked in Alt Flash's mind. "What if he's," the two Flashes spoke as one. "harnessing the energy from Zoom! Let's go!" The speedsters raced away, searching every place they could find.
"While they're doing that, Dig should be back any second. I'll give him the report, and then we will attack. I've beaten Slade before. This won't be much different."
