As my eyes jerked open I was paralyzed in shock. Something weird was in her hands, named California.
She looked like us. But she was different. Very different. Her hair was yellow, but white at the same time, like someone bleached it. Then her skin looked different, it wasn't olive colored. It was as if someone had taken her skin and bleached it as well.
She had dots all over her cheeks, and her eyes were the bluest color you could ever imagine.
After we all stopped gasping like lunatics Texas almost dropped her as she noticed she was not like us.
She rapidly placed California back in the baby carriage, as if she was holding something infected.
As Texas laughed nervously, something uncontrollably took over me. Was it fear? Sadness? Or was it simply something that made me different?
"STOP!" I yelled, and covered my mouth as I did. Everyone turned at me with eyes bigger than boulders.
"Florida sweety. Please control yourself. I know you want to help deal with this danger but we will take care of it don't worry."
"NO! SHE SHOULDN'T BE EXITED! SHE IS TOO YOUNG!" I yelled, sending a chill up my own spine.
"Florida, we are suggesting you to calm down." she said, her voice barely audible and her face overcome by a darkness you would've never imagine she could have.
"NO!! I AM TIRED OF THIS!!" I yelled, tears bucketing down my cheeks. I looked down at Georgia, her eyes wide in fear.
I bent down to grab her hand but she jolted away.
She was scared of me.
Because I was different.
I felt a look of pain flash through my face but got replaced as quickly with a look of determination.
As I was about to screw my life even more, I felt a hand clasp around my arm. My eyes widened as I looked down and I saw a hand bigger than it should be. I turned to see a woman twice my size in length and width. She was one of Them. I tried to scream but it got caught in my throat. "Florida." the woman said in a harsh croak. "You are being Exited."
I felt a rush of adreline explode throughout my body as I punched and kicked at anything I could, but her grip was too strong. I cried and screamed like an uncontrollable animal.
"Florida." She croaked, me hating every word that came out of her wide mouth. "I am asking you to calm down. If you do not, you will be controlled with greater forces."
And I screamed.
And I kicked.
And I punched.
I looked up and saw her jaw dripping with blood, yet her gaze frozen solid with no emotion.
"You are different." she croaked. Then, I felt a excruciating pain shoot through my leg.
And then everything went black.
