Skyler's POV
We sat on the ledge.  Just staring at each other. Smiling like dweebs, our foreheads touching. My arms were still sitting on his shoulders and around his neck.
Jayce laughed.
"What?" I said, laughing along.
"It's just-I've wanted to do that for the longest time...who knew it was that easy."
I laughed and kissed him on the cheek.
"You're such a dork." I said, playfully.
He laughed and looked down.
"Hey, I need to show you something now." I said, sliding off the ledge and onto the roof, grabbing Jayce's hand.
"Ooo, my turn for surprises?"
I rolled my eyes and laughed, "Yes, come on stupid."
He laughed and slid off the ledge and was soon at my side.
"What is it?" He asked.
"Close your eyes." I told him.
He closed his eyes and I led him over to the other side of the roof.
"Okay open you eyes."
Jayce opened his eyes, "Awesome! The other side of the roof."
"Not that you dork, this!"
I moved to the side and revealed a small hatch leading to an old attic/storage room I found a few days before.
"Woah."
"You wanna check it out," I asked, "because, I can't go alone...I'm too scared." I pouted, then soon burst into laughs.
Jayce laughed along, "Okay my little scary cat, come on."
He opened the hatch and jumped inside, waiting for me with his arms open so he could catch me.  He's the biggest dork, but you gotta love him.
I jumped down, Jayce wrapped his arms around my waste.
"Hey sky?"
"Hold on," I said, "don't let go."
I squeezed him tight in my arms. He hugged me back.
"You know what?" I whispered.
"What?"  He asked.
"I love you." I whispered, hugging him even tighter than I already was.
"I love you too." He whispered back.
I smiled. As Jayce kissed me gently on the forehead.
"Sky..?"
"Jay..?"
"What if I told you I've had a crush on you since we met in the third grade?" He asked.
"What if I told you the same thing?" I asked.
We looked at each other and smiled, letting go of our hug and letting our hands intertwine as we began walking through the dark and creepy attic.
