¤4th Day¤

~No one's P.O.V.~

The bright big orb known as the sun peaked through the horizon. To some, its sunlight was a good way to wake up.

But to the patients at Fairy Institute...well, that's a different story.

THIS PLACE. NEEDS WINDOWS, Sting thought with a tick mark as he stared at the white-tiled ceiling. He had woken up by himself, but was saddened when he realized that there were absolutely no windows, no screens, no place for real light, only for artificial. No wonder hospitals are depressing, Sting thought in his head. Ah, but then again... Sure Sting wasn't the best person or role model, but when realization upon the reasoning behind the no windows or access to the outside hit him, he didn't question it. "Still, it's not like I'd ever do it.." he mumbled to himself.

"Yeah Sting-kun! You have us!" The girl with hazel eyes and sand hair from his first day came back. Sometimes his hallucinations would loop, but to him, he thought of it as "the girls coming back".

"We'll never leave Sting-sama!!" another brunette nodded vigorously.

"Yup, who needs to leave this world when I have everything I want?" Sting smirked, although a tiny part of his heart cringed with his self-told lies. Unfortunately, it was too small for Sting to take notice, as it had shrunk with every passing day, the arrogant schizophrenic slowly enduring the pain. The two fangirls squealed just as a nurse came in. all "3" people turned their head to the door. The girls faces darkened with jealous and Sting's blue eyes widened before he avoided his gaze from Nurse Mirajane.

"Hello Sting," the nurse smiled brightly.

"...Hi," Sting coughed, awkwardness surrounding him as he remembered his first impression to her.

"Ah, don't worry, there are no hard feelings," Nurse Mirajane waved off, as if she had read his mind.

"Oh, well in that case.." Sting smirked. The white-haired girl chuckled and shook her head no in an innocent yet somehow menacing way. Sting got the message and gulped. "A-ah, nevermind," he said, backing off. The girls don't like it when I flirt anyways, he mentally thought, glancing over to the girls to see them gritting their teeth in envy.

"Anyways, I'm here to make sure you take your pills." She smiled and held out the same small cup of pills as yesterday, forcefully putting it onto the palms of Sting's hands.

"You know, I don't really need these," Sting put on the most innocent smile he could form and tried to give it back. The nurse shook her head again and pushed it back to him.

"I'm afraid you'll have to take these," she grinned. "They are to help you get better!"

"But there's nothing wrong with me!" he pouted. The nurse sighed, knowing talking wasn't going to do the trick. So, she gave off one of her famous dark glares.

"I suggest you eat those pills, before I have to take drastic measures," she warned, her innocent smile adding even more darkness with her now evil-tinted eyes. Sting froze and immediately popped the pills into his mouth and took big gulps of water.

"No Sting-sama!" the girls cried, but Sting knew they were gone when he felt two objects plop into the bottom of his empty stomach.

"See? Don't you feel better now?" The nurse went back to her nice self. Truthfully, as annoying as they were, it was better than the painful reality of loneliness to Sting. If he went too long without the "girls" showing up, the "voices" would start to seep into his head, which would then make him unstable. He himself could vaguely remember the last time that happened, and when he was sane again, he found himself with tons of bruises and scratches all over him. His father refused to tell him what had happened once again, but he could vaguely recall screaming, ringing, and the bitter feeling of emptiness and not being able to know what's real and not. Sting gulped.
