Obedience, one of the
TEN COMMANDMENTS

Obedience is a major thing in the Bible. Jesus had commanded all of us to do one thing and it's to live life abundantly and to spread the Good news. In this Devotional, there will be a lot of examples.
The Bible says in :

             Obedience unto your parents
Ephesians 6:1-3

[1] ... Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right. [2] Honour thy father and mother; (which is the first commandment with promise;) [3] That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth. ...

Wow what does verse 3 say? That it will be great if we keep this commandment, but then it says "and tho mayest live long on earth". Wow God is so good huh? Yes he is but remember to keep his commandment. If you want to live a long life. Obedience is key.

  Obedience unto Authorities

Romans 13:1-2 KJV

[1] ... Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. [2] Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation. ...

Not only our Parents but also Preachers, Policemen, and even teachers. They all need our Obedience. God put these authorities in our lives to obey, and for them to show us new things and protect us.
