Part 3 The spoby Diaries

The hoodie stared back at me with sorrow eyes  

"No!" I screamed, "how could you, what the hell!" 

Her expression quickly changed into angry as Hanna whispered into my ear "don't be so surprised, I joined to stop you. You hurt Mona and I'm going to hurt you back!"  

I wiped the spit out of my ear and spun on my heels to face the hoodie holding Toby.

I didn't care anymore, I wanted to end everything even if it meant myself.

I sprinted towards the second hoodie and it raised the pocket knife to warn me back. I just keep running and jumped into the air. 

The blade slashed my side and I stumbled back, knees wobbling and blood leaked down the blue demin shorts onto the dry leaves.  

I let out a growl in my throat and leapt again. Everything happened in slow motion, I saw Toby staring in disbelief and the hoodie knife cut through the air. 

I grabbed Toby and flung him out of the hoodies arms before tackling the hoodie. The leaves crunched under our weight and we hit the metal rusted playground frame.  

We were in a forest surrounded by thick, dark trees. The playground hasn't been used in years making it the perfect place to attack. 

I quickly sat on the hoodies stomach grabbing at the hands that were whipping around trying to grab the knife. 

The pocket knife was a few metres away but impossible to reach.  

Behind me Keegan was fighting with Hanna. I could hear her screeching at him to get down and a few thuds. But I turned my attention back to the hoodie under me.  

My hands were balled into fists as a punched the hoodie a couple of times. I didn't want to stop. Each punch came with a angry squeal.  

It was Melissa.  

My hair was flying around, she grabbed a few locks and pulled really hard so my head was facing her bruised, bloody face.  

"You stupid bitch!" She screamed into my face.  

"What have I ever done to you!" I said feeling emotional. 

"You take everything Spencer, my boyfriends, mum and dads attention and you want more!" 

I stopped punching her and slid of. She let go of my hair and jumped up. We stood there staring at each other, she was pouring out in tears, her body was blue and purple with two matching black eyes disguising the bags under her eyes. There was blood coming out of her mouth and her limbs were scratched, she looked miserable and hurt.  

"Melissa" I said reaching for her. I touched her hair and she pulled me into a hug. We cried together and I stroked her hair as her body struggled to inhale through the sobs. She kissed my forehead and my shoulder was wet from her warm tears. It felt like old times when we would fight and end up in is exact same position. 

I looked over her shoulder to see Hanna on the ground not moving and Toby watching us. His face was distressed and he started to walk towards me. 

Suddenly I was flipped on my back and I couldn't breath. Melissa loomed over me with the knife and her knee smashing into my chest.  

I was badly winded and gasping for words and breath. 

"You really think we can just make up after everything!?", Melissa said holding the knife up. 

"STOP PLEASE MELISSA, you don't want to do this! We made a promise" I looked behind my crazy sister to see Toby standing there slowly inching closer screaming his pleas at her.
