Chapter 7

Faith; I woke up in a hospital. "What the hell happened..." I moaned and felt someone grab my hand. I looked up to see chase. Tears in his eyes. "Thank god.. Your awake..." He said and hugged me. "What happened.." I asked. "You were shot. They found the guy. Some crazy drunk hater..." Chase explained. "Wow.... Is trin ok?" I asked and he nodded. "She just left to get a drink. She's been really freaked out." He said. "Ok...." I muttered. "Jess is gonna be here soon.. Your shoulders fine and luckily they were easily able to take out the bullet and stitch you up... It'll just be 6 weeks for the skin to heal." He explained worriedly. "That's good... I thought I was gonna die..." I muttered.

"I'm so glad your ok..." He said and kissed me. "What are they doing to the guy?" I asked. "Usher already went to court and all that... You were unconscious for 3 days... And the guy is sentenced to 10 years in jail." He said. "Good.." I said and he nodded. The door opened and Jess ran in and shoved chase out of the way and hugged me.

"Oh my god are you ok? Did you just wake up? Chase told me everything and I tried to get here sooner but there's a mob of reporters outside and it was cray cray and I-" "JESS CHILL GIRL!" I said cutting her off. "I'm fine don't worry. I just wanna get out of this hospital..." I said and she laughed. "You hungry?" She asked. I nodded. "Well the nurse said you need food as soon as you wake up so whatcha want me to get ya?" She asked. "Chocolate chip cookie!" I said. She laughed. "K ill be back in 5..." She said and left.

The nurse came in and they let me change into jeans and a tshirt trin had brought from home for me and once they were sure I could walk they said I could go. Jess came back. Her cheerful expression serious.. Something was wrong. I gave her a are you ok look but she gave me a tell you later look back. We got to the car and drove home and chase went to his apartment and Jess dropped Justin off at his house and we went home...

Trinity me and Jess sat on the couch watching TV. "What happened Jess?" I asked again. "I... Don't worry... Please." She said. I realized how confused and serious she was and I nodded. Trinity nodded with me. "Ok but you must tell us soon..." Trinity said. "Deal." Jess said.

*Jess's POV*

*flash back*

I walked to the cafeteria to get faith her cookie. I'm so happy she's ok. I was just walking along and felt someone grab me and pull me down a hall way. I shouted but was shushed. "Calm down it's just me." Said Justin and I looked at him. "Why'd you grab me." I said. "We need to talk..." He said. "About what?" I asked. He shook his head. Shoving me against the wall and putting his hands on either side of me. "Justin what's wrong?" I asked. "I can't do this anymore... I can't keep acting like everything's fine... What you said at the Ellen show about us not dating and stuff pissed me off and I gotta say this so I can get over it...." He said.

"Then say it..." I said un sure what he was gonna say.

"I like you... Ok? I've liked you since I met you and your all sweet and nice and gorgeous and super hot and I can't keep acting like I just want us as friends when I want you as so much more.... Your all I can think about and I can't stop thinking of you and it's driving me insane and I can't take this anymore....." He said. "Justin I-" I started but he cut me off by kissing me.

Soft at first but then rougher. His lips moved in sync with mine and his hands moved to my hips. I let my fingers run through his hair and just as things started getting good he pulled away. He looked at me... "You only see us as friends though...... Sorry." He said and walked away.

I stood there shocked on what happened. "Justin wait... " I yelled but he was gone...

Faith: *the next day* "JESS MOVE YOUR BUTT OR WERE GONNA BE LATE FOR YOUR OWN PARTY!" I screamed. Jess's fans were having a party for her new single which just came out yesterday and me and Jess decided to go crash it since we had nothing else to do and trinity was with Niall for the day.
