I Smiled at him with a short sigh of relief.
He had asked me to marry him and without thinking I said yes.
Right now we were far away from my room..We were deep in the bush, running of course.
Don't give me that weird face because we both loved our lives...its a taboo to do this, I knew that my in laws would definitely sue my dad for this or something worse..
And if we were caught. it would be an untold messed up tale..
" I thought you might want this"
I raised my eyes up and saw him, he was holding a basket filled with fruits on one hand and stretching an Apple to me.
"Sure" ...I grabbed one and had a bite.." Hmmm...sweet.. Forbidden fruit" ...he smiled and I continue eating my apple..he wanted leaving to get water but I stopped him when I spoke:
"I'm finally doing something in relation to my novels"
"Like??" He turned raising his eyebrows ..
" Running away with the one I love" I stared at him real deep and saw him turn back wanting to leave but he came back and said...
" You agreed to marry me because of three reasons and none of them are even close to love"
I winced and eyed him.
" One- Your lonely"
" no am not!!" I screamed back in defense to my embarassed state
"Two - You prefer getting married to someone who your used to than someone you don't know and lastly you feel you owe me a lot but I just did this for my payment"
I rushed to give him a slap but he huged me protectively and I couldn't raise my hands
" so I should be the one talking about love dear"

I heard a thud at my back, it was my mom, she slumped immediately she heard me say the stament...i didnt care about her or the wild animal nature gave me as a father. He sat down wearing a long face..
"Hmmphh!!! My bride is a lioness fighting for a mere security"
" You could call me whatever you think of me but never call my man a MERE SECURITY"
"Omg...she's fighting for him too...dad I told you, I don't trust this secu....or man or her lover according to her but you never listened. Just imagined if I didn't put a hidden camera in her room by now we would have been disturbing the gods to search for my wife .....im tired, ill get a new wife. Guards pick both of them and end their lives"
They draged them out and killed them. ............
